SAFETY WARNINGS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should
always be followed, including the following. This appliance generates
heat and steam during use. Proper precautions must be taken to
prevent the risk of burns, fires or other damage to persons or property.
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS AND SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
2. Before using this appliance ensure that the voltage of your
electricity supply is the same as that indicated on the rating plate
of the appliance.
3. Unplug the appliance from the mains socket when not in use, or
before cleaning any part of the appliance.
4. Do not immerse the body of the appliance or the mains cable or,
mains plug in water or liquids.
5. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance
containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
6. Do not continue to operate the appliance if you are in any doubt
about it working normally (e.g. abnormal noise, smell, smoke), or if
it is damaged in any way - switch off, withdraw the mains plug and
consult your dealer.
7. Do not use attachments or accessories not recommended by the
manufacturer.
8. Do not let the mains cable overhang the edge of the work surface
or allow it to touch hot surfaces or sources of heat or flame.
9. Ensure ample clearance around and above the appliance so you
can work safely.

Never place the appliance on or near a source of heat such as a hot
gas, electric burner or heated oven. Do not allow it to touch
curtains, wall coverings, clothing, dish towels or other flammable
materials during use.
Do not place the appliance under any overhead cupboards when in
use.
10. The appliance must be placed on a flat stable surface and
should not be subjected to vibrations.
11. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capa-
bilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play
with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be
made by children without supervision.
12. The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an
external timer or a separate remote-control system.
13. This appliance is for household use only. Do not use it for profes-
sional catering. Do not use the appliance for any purpose not
expressly specified in this manual.
14. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or controls.
15. Do not use this appliance for other than intended use.
16. The appliance must not be left unattended while it is connected
to the mains socket.
17. Do not heat without food inside.
18. Do not open the lid when frying.

1. Introducing the oil or fat
1 ) Press the “ OPEN” button to open the top lid.
2) Lift the basket using the handle.
3) Place approximately 1.65 liters of oil or 1.35 kg of hard fat into the
oil container, (the level must always be between the two marks on
the oil container wall).
4) If you use blocks of fat, cut them into pieces before placing them
in the oil container.
5) Set the switch of the temperature controller to 150 degree and
press the “ON/OFF” button, (the indicators “POWER” and “HEAT-
ING” come on). To melt the fat needs roughly 8 minutes.
6) Never attempt to melt fat in the basket.
2. Cooking
1 ) Plug in the fryer; Set the temperature controller to the desired
temperature depending on what you are going to cook.
2) Press the “ON/OFF” button, the indicator “POWER” comes on,
and the indicator “HEATING” comes on.
3) When the indicator “HEATING” goes out, (after approx. 5-7
minutes), the fryer has reached the corresponding temperature.
Open the top lid.

4) Unfold the handle of the basket.
5) Put the food in the basket.
6) Lower the basket into the oil slowly; watching the oil level and
foam in order to keep them from reaching the fringe of the oil
container confirming the oil level is appropriate. Fold the handle.
Close the lid.
7) When the oil has reached the desired temperature, the indicator
“HEATING” goes out. When the oil temperature goes lower than
the desired temperature, the indicator “HEATING” will comes on
again automatically, this cycle will keep on going.
8) When the food is cooked, press the “ON/OFF” button, and
unplug the fryer; The indicator “POWER” goes out. Open the lid.
Unfold the handle to the basket’s support (at the top of the
basket’s body), then raise the basket and drain the oil.
3. Cleaning
1 ) Unplug the fryer when cleaning.
2) Clean the outside of the fryer and the lid with a damp cloth.
3) Never use abrasive pads or alcohol.
4) Wash the basket with hot water or washing-up liquid. Rinse and
dry carefully.
5) Never immerse the fryer in water or wash it directly with water.
4. Care and maintenance
a. Replacing the filter
1 ) Detach the fence lid from the top lid.
2) Remove the used filter.
3) Clean the top lid, inner cover and fence lid with a damp cloth or
sponge.
4) Place in a new filter.
5) Set the fence lid back.
b. Repairs
If there is any breakdown or damage, the fryer must be repaired by
specialized personal. Non-specialized personal are not permitted to
dismantle or repair the fryer.
