Pneumatic Detail Polishing Kit
Introduction:
This new air-powered detail polisher is ultra-compact and lightweight, which
makes it easy to use in confined areas. Ideal for all spot repair and touch-up
work. Polish and finish areas that have previously been inaccessible: inside
door handles, the back of the door mirror, and areas adjacent to body fittings
such as grilles, badges, etc. The polisher is super-slim and the backing and
polishing pads just 25-30mm in diameter.
Hook and loop backing pad for quick change between different pads.
Comprehensive range of polishing pads (four grades — from cutting to final
finishing), felt mops and lambswool pads. Also included are a pair of detail
felt point mops, just 11.5mm in diameter. Spare pads are available. Easy
to operate speed control. This tool delivers low noise and low vibration for
safety and comfort in use. Useful 130cm flexible air line keeps the heavy
workshop air line away from the job.

Operation:
Compressed air supply:
The tool must be connected to a suitable, clean, dry and lubricated workshop
air supply. It is recommended that the air pressure measures 90psi at the tool
while running free. Water in the air line will damage the tool. Drain the air tank
daily and drain any dryer/filter unit when necessary.
Lubrication: For first use of the tool, add a few drops of air tool lubricating
oil to the compressed air line connection. In use, if an in-line oiler is not
installed, add a few drops of air tool lubricating oil daily. Adequate lubrication
will help to ensure long tool service life.
When tool is not in use, disconnect from compressed air supply.
Regulating the speed:
Refer to Figure 2: adjust the air pressure and therefore the speed of the
instrument by turning the speed control towards ON or OFF. Lower speeds
are recommended for detail work using the smaller pads. Remember to
switch OFF when finished. Do not disconnect air line while tool is ON.

Attaching the backing pads and accessories:

supplied spanners to grip the tool and then turn the locking collar clockwise
to tighten the chuck. To remove an accessory, turn the locking collar
anticlockwise.
