Safety
Please read all the safety information and instructions.
Failure to observe the safety information and instructions
can result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.
The manufacturer is not liable for cases of material dam-
age or personal injury caused by incorrect handling or
non-compliance with the safety instructions. In such
cases, the warantee is voided.
PLEASE KEEP ALL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE FOR FUTURE REFERENCE!
Avoid the danger of death
from electric shock!
Before installation, check the motion detector, as well
as connection cords to ensure that these are intact. A
defective product and defective cords increase the
risk of electrical shock.
DANGER TO LIFE BY ELECTRIC
SHOCK! Before installation or performing any work
on the lamp, switch off the electrical circuit at the cir-
cuit breaker box or remove the fuse from the fuse box.
Only install the motion detector while wearing dry
clothing and preferably, shoes with rubber soles or
while using an insulation mat.
If not working properly, only allow the sensor 1to
be repaired by an electrician.

Mounting/Start-upSafety/Mounting
Never take the product apart under any circum-
stances.
How to avoid personal injury and
damage to the product!
RISK OF FATAL
INJURY AND ACCIDENT HAZARD
FOR INFANTS AND SMALL CHIL-
DREN! Never leave children unattended with the
packaging material or the product. The packaging
material poses a suffocation hazard, and there is a
risk of fatal injury by electric shock. Children often
underestimate dangers. Please keep children away
from the device at all times.
Children or persons who lack the knowledge or ex-
perience to use the device or whose physical, sen-
sory or intellectual capacities are limited, must never
be allowed to use the device without supervision or
instruction by a person responsible for their safety.
Children must be supervised at all times so that they
do not play with the device.
CAUTION! EXPLOSION HAZARD! Do not op-
erate the motion detector in potentially explosive en-
vironments containing flammable vapours, gases or
dusts.
Never exceed the maximum rated supply voltage of
240V∼.
Avoid extreme temperature fluctuations. Use the
product only if the ambient temperatures are accept-
able.
We recommend that installation be performed by a
professional.
Never take the product apart.
Mounting
Select a suitable place for
installation
Ensure that
– the motion detector will not be functionally inhibited at
the desired place of installation due to obstacles or
constantly moving objects.

9GB/IE
Mounting/Start-upSafety/Mounting
– the motion detector is not installed where there are
strong temperature fluctuations, e.g. due to heating
devices or air conditioners.
Installation
DANGER TO LIFE BY ELECTRIC
SHOCK! Before installation, switch off the electrical
circuit at the circuit breaker box or remove the fuse
from the fuse box.
Note: The recommended installation height is be-
tween 1.8 and 2.5 m.
Note: Before installation, ensure an optimal direc-
tion of motion. The motion detector reacts more sensi-
tively to movement from the side than to motion from
the front (see Ill. A). Therefore, we recommend install-
ing the motion detector 1to the side of the direc-
tion of movement.
Note: To attach the base plate 4it is necessary to
drill two holes. We recommend a drill with a 6 mm
diameter.
Remove the screws 2from the cover of the connec-
tion area by screwing them in the direction of
rotation (see Ill. B).
Insert the cable through the cable opening 5of the
base plate 4.
Screw the base plate 4to the desired position.
Connect the cable to the screw terminal 3of the
motion detector as depicted in Ill. C.
Attach the cover of the connection area back to the
base plate 4by screwing the screws 2in the
direction of rotation .
Start-up
Turn the electricity back on. The device is now ready
for use.
Setting the detection range (Ill. D)
Note: the sensor range is max. 12 m (depending on the
surrounding temperature).

Error Analysis/Cleaning and Care/DisposalStart-up/Error Analysis
Turn the control knob SENS 6in the direction „-” in
order to reduce the sensor range 1to 5 m.
Turn the control knob SENS 6in the direction „+”
in order to increase the sensor range 1.
Setting the light sensitivity (Ill. D)
Turn the control knob LUX 8in the direction „ “.
The sensor 1is in the night operation mode and
does not react to light values below 3 Lux.
Turn the control knob LUX 8in the direction „ “.
The sensor 1is in the night and day operation mode.
Note: the intermediate range is for various light
values.
Setting the lighting duration
of the device (Ill. D)
Note: the lighting duration of the device can be set from
min. 10 sec. to max 7 min.
Turn the contol knob TIME 7in the direction „-” in
order to decrease the lighting duration of the device.
Turn the control knob TIME 7in the direction „+“ in
order to increase the lighting duration of the device.
Note: The lighting duration is always calculated based on
the respective last movement recorded by the sensor 1.
Error Analysis
Note: The function of the device is dependent on on the
outside temperature. Functional errors may occur due to
strong temperature fluctuations.
Problem Solution
The connected
lighting does
not illuminate.
a) Check to ensure that the elec-
trical cord and the device are
connected correctly.
b) Replace defective lighting
material.
c) Check the setting of the light
sensitivity.
