Note: PreciseLED recessed xtures are designed to meet the latest NEC requirements and are listed in full compliance
with UL 1598. Before attempting installation of any recessed lighting xture, check your local electrical building code.
This code sets the wiring standards and installation requirements for your locality and should be understood before
starting work. If xture is to be switch from wall switch or dimmer, make sure black supply wire properly connected to
switch or dimmer (follow switch/dimmer instructions).
WARNING:
1. Before wiring to power supply, turn off electricity at the fuse or circuit break box.
2. Insulation may be placed in direct contact with ANY part of the xture.
3. Always have installation performed by a licensed electrician.
FIXTURE INSTALLATION
1. Extend bar hangers to t between joists. Bar hanger foot is contoured to easily align with
bottom of joist (Fig.1). Position xture by hammering Real-Nails into joists (Fig.2).
(Note: Bar hanger may be shortened to t 12’’ framing or smaller by breaking at score lines).
2. Slide xture along bar hangers into desired location. Use locking screw or slot to secure(Fig.3).
Relocating xture- Nail can be removed with hammer claw to allow easy repositioning of xture
without damaging bar hanger or nail.
3. Follow steps 1-4 under Electrical Connection.
4. When installing in drywall, cut appropriate sized hole. After installing drywall, if necessary,
adjust xture for ceiling thickness by loosening hex screws that attach the round housing to the
plaster frame.

1.Ensure the power to the xture’s circuit is turned off.
Remove optics (A) by the provided tool.
2. Open the screw tabs (D) (DO NOT remove the tabs) on
the LED module, and uncrew the screws (C)

3. Disconnect the LED module wires and remove the LED
module (B) to get access to the wires.
