Safety Hints
ATTENTION: PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE USING TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT
& OPERATOR!
The crane may not be assembled or operated under the inuence of alcohol, drugs or any other
intoxicang substances. Lack of aenon while connecng the components can cause substanal
damage to the equipment/operator.
The crane may only be operated in levelled horizontal posion. Make sure that the surface is stable.
To prevent any harm or injury, properly join all secons of the crane. In addion, it is suggested to use
the support stand while telescoping the complete length.
Always connect the steel cables properly to provide stability to the system. They should not negavely
impact the movements of the crane in any way.
Aer the crane setup, the pan-lt head/gimbal head shall be posioned under the central pivot secon.
In the assembled state, when the pan-lt head/gimbal head is higher than the central pivot secon,
there should be someone to look aer the crane system.
The complete panning & liing range around it must be kept free. Avoid anybody standing under the
crane. No loose objects may be stored or placed on it. Be very careful while using indoors.
Never operate the crane in the immediate vicinity of high-voltage power cables. It holds danger to life.
Parcular care is required when operang the crane in unfavourable weather condions. The crane
must be shut down in sucient me. When it is used in a rainy day, the pan-lt head / gimbal head and
controlling bar shall be protected against rain.
When you want to transport the crane, lock the Pan & Tilt Axis for safety. Make sure that the
components do not rub together and cause any material wear.
Before the counterweights are removed, ensure the remote head is resng on the support stand. Then
gradually remove the counterweights before remote head, camera or other parts.
In the interest of safe crane operaon, avoid abruptly swivelling or stopping the crane, otherwise it may
cause serious damage to equipment.
FOLLOWING THESE GUIDELINES WILL PROVIDE BETTER SHOTS AND TROUBLE FREE OPERATION.

Take out the Tripod Stand from its case,
stretch its legs on the oor as required, and
ghten the knob to secure it.
Match the boom leg secon holes with the
upper leg secon to secure the tripod stand
with Steel locking Pins and ghten the knob.
Jib Stand Setup
NOTE: We have provided double-locking
precauons on Jib Stand. The pin is primary;
the locking knob is secondary locking, so lock
the pin to prevent the stand from slipping.
Place the spreader on the oor, spread its
legs (as required) with the help of a provided
knob.
Put tripod stand on spreader & lock it in
place with the rubber grips.

NOTE: For seng up your Crane package with spreader or with oor dolly follow the below steps:

Remove the bolts and spread the dolly legs
on the oor.
Insert the bolts with their washer and ghten
them properly.
Dolly Setup
NOTE: To keep the dolly in a stac posion,
lock the wheels by pushing down the lever.
Remove the allen bolts from tripod holders.
Align together the Tripod holder and the
dolly hole, insert the long bolt & ghten it
using an allen key.
NOTE: This dolly has various holes for the exible Tripod mounng.
Once all the steps menoned above are
completed, you will see the stand and
spreader as shown here.

Tighten the tripod holder knob as shown in
the image.
Install the Hub Assembly on the stand.
Hub Secon Setup
Note: The Hub Assembly has several mounng holes. You can mount LCD Monitor or Joysck box if you
want.
Remove ratchet knobs from the stand and
insert the tripod legs into the dolly feet.
Insert the provided washer & knob to secure
the jib properly.
NOTE: Tighten the knob properly. It secures the
assembly hub.
Insert the bolts with washers and ghten
properly using a wrench.

Insert rear tube secon (secon 1) into the
hub assembly, slide secon 2 into secon 1
and align holes of both the secons with the
central hole of hub assembly.
Once the holes are aligned, insert the long
bolt and nut to secure the secons properly.

Repeat this process for the rest of the
secons. Aach Secon 6 with 5, 5 with 4, 4
with 3, 3 with 2 & 2 with 1. 321
Aer aligning the holes, insert a shank lock
pin & ghten it from another side with a
shank threaded cap. For double security,
insert the locking pin from the top of the jib
arm.
Note: We have provided double-locking precauons on Jib Stand. The pin is primary; the locking knob is
secondary locking, so lock the pin to prevent the secons from slipping.
Remove the bolt from head secon and
aach the head secon to the jib.
Head Secon Setup

Aach the provided bolt, sha collars,
washers and nut. Tighten all the bolts and
nuts to secure correctly, as shown in the
image.
Connect one end of the Levelling cable with
to the head plaorm by hooking the
turnbuckle ends.
To mount the rear secon of the jib, insert
the bolt with washers through one end of
the secon. Slide the bolt through and
secure by ghtening with hand.
Rear Frame Setup
Aach other end to the hub assembly.
Pan Tilt Head Setup
Aach the Sr. Pan-lt head to the head
mounng jib secon and secure it using the
four ¼"" screws.

Cables & Control Box Setup
NOTE: Any 12-volt baery may operate the PROAIM Sr. PAN TILT HEAD as long as the connector mates
and is #1 pin Negave and #4 pin Posive.
CAUTION: DO NOT USE AN UNREGULATED POWER SUPPLY!
A REGULATED POWER SUPPLY MUST PRODUCE LESS THAN 24 VOLTS. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR
24 VOLTS.
JOYSTICK
The joysck may be operated handheld from a at surface like a tabletop or aached to the boom arm of
the jib.
Aach the 4-pin power cord to the rear of
the Joysck Box.
HEAD CABLE
PROAIM SR. PAN TILT HEAD Digital only
Secure the Sr. Pan-Tilt Head with a washer
and wing nut as shown in the image.
Aach 4-pin male connectors of cable to the
four-pin female connectors of the head for
panning & lng. If the Joysck Control is
opposite, undo the connectors at the motors,
rotate 180 degrees and re-install.
Secure your camera setup.
