ELECTRICAL CONNECTION (UK ONLY)
For your safety please read the following information.
The appliance must be connected to a 220-240 volts 50 cycle AC supply by means of a three pin socket, suitably
earthed.
The appliance is supplied with a rewireable 13 amp 3 pin mains plug fitted with a 5 amp fuse. Should the fuse require
replacement, it must be replaced with a fuse rated at 5 amp and approved to BS1362.
If the mains plug is unsuitable for the socket outlet in your home or is removed for any other reason, then the old plug
should be disposed of safely to prevent the hazard of electric shock.
There is a danger of electric shock if the old plug is inserted into any 13 amp socket outlet.

Important
The wires in the mains lead on this appliance are coloured in accordance
with the following code:
Blue – Neutral
Brown – Live
As the colours may not correspond with the markings identifying the terminals in your plug proceed as follows.
The blue wire must be connected to the terminal marked N or coloured black.
The brown wire must be connected to the terminal marked L or coloured red.
No wire must be connected to the terminal in the plug which is marked with the letter E or with the earth symbol
or coloured green and yellow.
The mains lead MUST be secured under the cord clamp.
WARNINGS:
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instructions concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
This appliance is intended for domestic household use only and should not be used for any other purpose or in any
other application, such as for none domestic use or in a commercial environment.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons
in order to avoid a hazard.
Switch off the appliance and disconnect from supply before changing accessories or approaching parts that move in
use.
Care shall be taken when handling the sharp cutting blades, emptying the bowl and during cleaning.

INPORTANT SAFTEY INSTRUCTIONS:
The blender is only to be used with the stand provided.
Always disconnect the blender from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning
CAUTION: Ensure that the blender is switched off before removing it from the stand.
Avoid contacting moving parts.
Never use this appliance to blend anything other than foods.
Do not allow children to use the blender without supervision.
Do not use the blender to blend or chop hot food or liquids as there is a danger of scalding or damage to the appliance.
The jug can only withstand temperatures up to 70ºC, temperatures in excess of this may cause the jug to shatter,
danger of injury.
Under no circumstances fill the jug with hot liquid during operation or cleaning. Hot liquid can cause the jug to shatter,
danger of injury.

BEFORE FIRST USE:
Thoroughly clean all the parts of the blender before you use the blender for the first time (See chapter ‘CLEANING’).
OPERATION:
1. Place the motor base on a stable, level surface.
2. Mount the jug onto the motor base and turn the jug clockwise until it fixes properly.
Make sure the tabs on the bottom of the jug are aligned with the grooves on the top of the motor base.

3. Fill the jug with the desired food. Do not exceed the 1.5 litres.
Food to be blended should be cut into cubes (approximately 2-3 cm).
4. Place the lid onto the jug and turn the lid clockwise until it is fixed properly .
To open the lid, turn it anticlockwise.
5. Place the inner cover into the hole of the lid and turn the inner cover clockwise until it is fixed properly.
6. Plug the appliance into the mains socket.
7. Turn the selector dial to the desired speed setting (1, 2 or P).
The PUSLE function stays on as long as the dial is kept in the “P” position when crushing ice or blending food
very briefly.
To crush ice, press ICE until ice is crushed to the desired consistency.
8. To add food in the blending process, remove the inner cover by turning it anticlockwise and insert food through the
hole of the lid.
9. When the food has reached the required consistency, turn the selector dial to “0”.

Always unplug the blender before cleaning.

Detach the jug from the motor base.
Detach the lid and inner cover from the jug.
Wash them in warm soapy water. Rinse them thoroughly.
Normal Cleaning
Clean the motor base with a damp cloth.
DO NOT immerse the motor base in water.

Si le câble d'alimentation est endommagé, il doit être remplacé par le fabricant, son service après vente ou des
personnes de qualification similaire afin d'éviter un danger.
Toujours déconnecter le mélangeur de l’alimentation si on le laisse sans surveillance et avant montage, démontage ou
nettoyage.
Mettre l'appareil à l'arrêt et le déconnecter de l’alimentation avant de changer les accessoires ou d'approcher les
parties qui sont mobiles lors du fonctionnement.
Des précautions doivent être prises lors de la manipulation des couteaux affûtés, lorsqu’on vide le bol et lors du
nettoyage.
Le mélangeur doit être utilisé uniquement avec le socle fourni.
Évitez tout contact avec les pièces mobiles.
N’utilisez jamais l’appareil pour mélanger autre chose que des aliments.

N’utilisez pas le mixeur pour mélanger ou hacher des aliments ou des liquides chauds car cela pourrait causer
des brûlures ou des dommages sur l'appareil.
Le bol ne peut résister qu’à des températures jusqu'à 70 º C, des températures supérieures pourraient briser le
bol, ce qui causerait un risque de blessure.
Ne remplissez en aucun cas le bol avec un liquide chaud pendant le fonctionnement ou le nettoyage. Un liquide
chaud pourrait briser le bol, ce qui causerait un risque de blessure.

AVANT LA PREMIÈRE UTILISATION
Nettoyez soigneusement toutes les pieces du mixeur avant de l'utiliser pour la première fois (voir le chapitre
‘NETTOYAGE’).
FONCTIONNEMENT
1. Placez le bloc moteur sur une surface plane et stable.
2. Montez le bol sur le bloc moteur et tournez-le dans le sens horaire jusqu'à ce qu'il s’enclenche correctement.
Assurez-vous que les onglets situés sur le fond du bol s’alignent avec les rainures en haut du bloc moteur.

3. Versez les aliments désirés dans le bol. Ne versez pas plus de 1,5 litre.
Les aliments à mixer doivent être coupés en cubes (d’environ 2 à 3 cm).
4. Placez le couvercle sur le bol et tournez le couvercle dans le sens horaire jusqu’à ce qu’il s’enclenche
correctement .
Pour ouvrir le couvercle, tournez-le dans le sens anti-horaire.
5. Placez le couvercle intérieur dans le trou du couvercle et tournez le couvercle intérieur dans le sens horaire jusqu'à
ce qu'il soit correctement fixé.
6. Branchez l'appareil sur une prise électrique.
7. Tournez le cadran de sélection jusqu’au réglage de vitesse (1, 2 ou P).
La fonction PULSE (IMPULSION) fonctionne aussi longtemps que le cadran est gardé en position “P” pour piler
de la glace ou mixer très brièvement des aliments.
Pour piler de la glace, appuyez sur ICE (GLACE) jusqu’à ce que la consistance désirée de la glace pilée .
8. Pour ajouter des aliments dans le bol, enlevez le couvercle intérieur en le tournant dans le sens anti-horaire et versez
les aliments à travers le trou du couvercle.
9. Lorsque les aliments ont attaint la consistence requise, tournez le cadran de selection en position “0”.

Laissez-le refroidir avant de le réutiliser.

NETTOYAGE
Débranchez l’appareil avant de le nettoyer.

Détachez le bol du bloc moteur.
Détachez le couvercle et le couvercle intérieur du bol.
Lavez-les dans de l’eau chaude et savonneuse. Rincez-les et faites-les sécher entièrement.
Nettoyage normal
Nettoyez le bloc moteur avec un chiffon humide.
N’immergez PAS le bloc moteur dans de l'eau.
