WARNINGS
This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar
applicaons such as:
− staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working
environments;
− farm houses;
− by clients in hotels, motels and other residenal type
environments;
− bed and breakfast type environments.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in
order to avoid a hazard.
This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance
and its cord out of reach of children.
Regarding the operang mes and speed seng, refer to the
secon “Operaon” on page 7 of the manual.
Care shall be taken when handling the sharp cung blades,
emptying the bowl and during cleaning.
Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is le
unaended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
Regarding the instrucons for cleaning surfaces in contact with
food, refer to the secon “Cleaning and Maintenance” on page 9
of the manual.
Switch off the appliance and disconnect from supply before
changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read all instrucons carefully before operang the appliance and
retain this instrucon manual for furture reference.
Before operang this appliance, ensure that long hair is ed back and loose
jewellery and clothing are removed.
Be certain that accessories are firmly inserted and correctly assembled
before operang this appliance.
Do not exceed the maximum quanty of ingredients listed in the instrucon
manual.
Never use this appliance to blend anything other than food.
Do not use the blender to blend or chop hot food or liquid as there is a
danger of scalding or damage to the appliance.
Do not overfill the bowl.
Do not use outdoors.
Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or counter, or touch
hot surfaces.
It is recommended to use the bowl cover on the bowl for whisking.
Ensure the aachments have stopped rotang before liing the mixer head
upwards.
The use of accessories not recommended by the manufacturer may cause
fire, electric shock or injury.
Do not use the appliance for anything other than its intended purpose.
Always operate the blender with lid in place.

BEFORE FIRST USE
Before using this appliance for the first me, clean the bowl, cover, mixing
bowl and accessories in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
ASSEMBLY
WARNING: ALWAYS make sure the appliance is turned off and unplugged
before assembly and disassembly. Place the appliance on a fat stable surface.

1. Press the head release lever to lift the head unit.
2. Place the mixingbowl into the recessed bowl
locator.Twist the mixingbowl anticlockwise to
lockit into place.
3. Place the splash guard onto the required accessory
(beater, whiskor dough hook).The splash guard will
fixinto the two notches on either side of the screw
head.
4. Place the accessory with splash guard into the
attachment socket.Rotate the accessory screw
head clockwise to secure into place.
5. Press the head release lever and lower the head
unit.
6.To prevent ingredients from splashingout
during whisking, it is recommended to attach
the bowl cover to the mixingbowl.
To assemble the blender onto the appliance,remove
the cover for blender attachment opening.
Fit the blender onto the openingby turningit
anticlockwise until it locks in place.

1.Remove the cover for meat grinder
attachment openingby turningit clockwise.
2.Fit the grinder body to the
opening.
Keep pressingthe button next
to the openingand rotate the
grinder body anticlockwise until
it is fixed to the appliance.
3.Insert the feed screw, longmetal end first,
into the front end of the grinder body.
4. Place the cutter,blade side facingout,over the base of the stem on the feed screw.
5.Fit one of the grindingplates onto the feed screwstem.
6.Fit the ringnut over the plate and turn it clockwise until it is secured to the grinder body.

7. Fit the tray into the grinder body.
Vegetable slicer/shredder kit assembly
Follow the illustraon to assemble the vegetable slicer/shredder kit.

OPERATION
Ensure the speed/pulse selector is set to “0”. Plug the appliance
into the mains socket.
Speed 1 to 3 for making bread dough
Use the dough hook or beater to mix and knead yeast doughs.
It is recommended that the rao of flour and water is 5:3.
The ingredients should be mixed at speed 1 and 2 for 10 seconds
respecvely, and then the speed increased to 3 for addional 3
minutes. (Max: 5-minute connuous use, connuous use for more
than 5 minutes may cause damage to the appliance.)
The maximum amount of flour is 1500 g.
To make sausage, fit the sausage plate and nozzle first and then fit the ring nut over them.
Turn the ring nut clockwise unl it is secured to the grinder body.

Speed 4 to 6 for making cakes and icings
Use the whisk to whisk egg whites and creams for about 5 minutes.
Whisk 250 ml fresh cream or eggs at speed 4 to 6.
The maximum number of eggs is 24.
Speed 1 to 6 for mixing shakes, cocktails or other liquids
Use the beater to mix the ingredients at speed 1 to 6 for about 5 minutes.
Connuous use for more than 5 minutes may cause damage to the appliance.
Pulse
Turn the speed/pulse selector to “P” to pulse for short bursts.
Blender funcon
1.Remove the lid and add appropriate ingredients to the blender jug.
2.Press the lid firmly into place.
You may add ingredients by removing the inner cap. Replace the inner cap
aer adding ingredients.
3.Follow the table below to select the required speed seng.
Speed Seng Suitable for
1 to 4 Blending liquids
5 to 6 Mixing liquids and solids
P Crushing ice
To remove the blender, turn it clockwise and then li it up.
The blender is designed to be operated without interrupon for a
maximum of 3 minutes. Allow to cool down to room temperature
before further use.
Grinding meat
1.Cut meat into cubes (about 20 mm x 20 mm).
2.Turn the speed control knob to speed 6.
3.Drop the meat cubes into the feed tube. Use the pusher to push the food
through the feed tube.

To make sausage, open up the sausage casing and pull it over the sausage
nozzle leaving approximately 5 cm overhanging at the end. Create sausages by
turning the speed control knob to the 0 posion and twisng the casing.
NOTE:
Thaw all frozen meat thoroughly before grinding.
Do not connuously grind meat for more than 5 minutes.
Be sure to refrigerate any ground meats immediately. Cook or freeze within
1 or 2 days.
Recommendaon of selecng the grinding plate
Fine plate – used for finely ground textured food, such as pâté, baby food and
hamburger.
Medium plate – used for medium ground textured food, such as meat for
sausage, meatballs or meatloaf.
Coarse plate – used for coarse ground textured food, such as ground beef.
Slicing/Shredding Vegetable (Speed 1 only)
1. Remove the cover of the vegetable slicer/shredder aachment opening.
2. Aach the vegetable slicer kit to the opening securely by turning the
opening clockwise.
Short-me operaon: The slicer/shredder is designed to be operated
without interrupon for a maximum of 5 min.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Warning: Always turn off and unplug the appliance before cleaning.
Ensure the appliance has cooled completely before cleaning.
Disassemble the accessories.
Wash the accessories in warm soapy water. Rinse them thoroughly.
Clean the outside of the appliance with a slightly damp cloth. Do not
immerse it in water.
Surfaces in contact with food should be cleaned regularly to avoid
cross contaminaon from different types of food, the use of warm
