ROIP Setup
Plug power Adapter (9v DC) into ROIP .
Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the ROIP and other end to the
Computer / Laptop/ switch Hub.
Check LAN connection LED (Green Color) is glowing continuously. If
it’s Blinking , check your Ethernet cable.
4 Radios are respectively connected with one 400 ROIP .There are four
RJ-45 connectors to connect radio set (RA1, RA2, RA3, RA4).
Connect RJ-45 part of interface cable at the radio connector end of the
ROIP . Connect the other end to the accessory port of the Radio Set .
Attach Antenna to the Radio and fix it outside the building or room
at the roof. Power on the Radio.
Take a walkie talkie-1 at the same channel/ frequency as of Radio
set-1 similar as all walkie talkie as per respective Radio’s.
Speak from the walkie talkie-1 Radio Set-1 should receive the sig-
nal and CSQ Led R1 (green color) at the front of the ROIP should
glow. Similarly speak from the mic of the Radio Set –1, walkie
talkie-1 should receive the signal.
Setup another ROIP and Radio’s and Walkie Talkie’s in the similar
way.

SETTINGS CONFIGURATION
Computer IP Configuration to configure ROIP
Go to Control Panel-> Network and Internet->
Network and Sharing Center
Click on Local Area Connection/ Wireless Network Connection.
Click “Properties”

Select “Internet Protocol Version 4 TCP/IPv4” and Click
“Properties”

Select “Use the following IP address” option.
Enter IP Address of computer (should be in the same local network
range as of ROIP). If ROIP is in default mode, enter “192.168.1.x”
(x is any value from 1 to 254 other than 80)
Enter Subnet Mask. If ROIP is in default mode, enter
“255.255.255.0”
Enter Default Gateway. If ROIP is in default mode, enter
“192.168.1.1”
Click Ok to save settings.

ROIP Configuration
Connect ROIP to a computer/ laptop using Ethernet Cable and fol-
low “Computer IP Configuration” procedure.
Open a Web browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Chrome,
etc) on the computer.
Enter the Local IP address of the ROIP on the address bar of web
browser as shown below (factory default: “192.168.1.80”:

Factory Default ROIP Settings
IP Settings:
Local IP: “192.168.1.80”
Subnet Mask: “255.255.255.0”
Gateway: “192.168.1.1”
Password: “admin” (without using “”)
A Login page will appear as shown below. Enter login password
and press Login (factory default: admin).

Radio Over IP Gateway Settings Home Page will appear as below.
IP Settings Configuration
Select “Local Ip Config Settings” on the Home Page.
A Local IP Configuration Settings Page will open as shown below.
Modify values as mentioned in “System Configuration”
Click on Save to confirm the changes.
Reset Power of ROIP for changes to take effect.
Local IP: Ip Address of the ROIP in the local area network
Subnet Mask: Subnet Mask of the local area network
Gateway: Ip Address of the gateway of local area network
