SETTING UP PUREIT EXCELLA
Remove the Transparent Chamber with the
pedestal and keep it aside.
Discard the plastic lm from it.
Remove the Cleansing Collection Chamber,
Top Chamber and the Top Lid and keep it aside.
Discard the thermocol from the Top Chamber.
Wash hands thoroughly. Remove the
Microcharged Membrane Assembly from
tamper proof pouch kept inside the
Cleansing Collection Chamber.
Open the box. Remove the Top Cover and keep it
aside. Remove and discard the thermocol.
There is a bellow pump in the Top Chamber. Keep it in a safe place as you will
need it later for cleaning.

SETTING UP PUREIT EXCELLA
Place the Top Chamber on the Cleansing Collection
Chamber, then place Sediment Filter in the Top
Cover and place it on the Top Chamber.
Pour in water till the top of the Top Chamber and drain
out all the water that collects in the Transparent Chamber.
Place the lid on the Top Cover. Pureit Excella is now ready
for use from second cycle onwards.

After tting the Microcharged Membrane Assembly to the Cleansing Collection Chamber,
do not rest the assembly on a at surface.
Please note that the rst cycle will not give full 9L of water in the Transparent Chamber
since some water gets stored in the Cleansing Collection Chamber and the Top Chamber.
Now place the Cleansing Collection Chamber
on the Transparent Chamber.
Insert the Microcharged Membrane Assembly at
the base of the Cleansing Collection Chamber.

Once the Germkill Life Indicator turns fully red, please replace the Germkill Kit immediately.
As an additional measure of safety, Auto Shut-off mechanism of the Pureit Excella, shuts off the
supply of puried water which ensures that no member of your family accidentally drinks unsafe water.
There is an Auto Shut-off overow port provided on the Germkill Life Indicator Cover.
When the Germkill Life Indicator is red, you might observe overow from this port. Please replace
the Germkill Kit. Do not pour any more water in the Top Chamber to avoid further spillage.
ORDERING AND CHANGING THE GERMKILL KIT
When Indicator shows white or partially
red, the Germkill Kit is working and it’s safe
to use.
When Indicator shows mostly red, the
Germkill Kit is nearing its end of life
and its time to buy a new Germkill Kit.
When Indicator shows fully red, the
Germkill Kit has exhausted and it is time
to replace it.
