This manual describes the additions and changes to the features as a result of the rmware upgrade.
Read this manual while referring to the latest version of "Operating Instructions" for this product.

Added Features
Features Descriptions
Automatic optical axis adjustment If Interactive Whiteboard is dropped or shaken excessively while it is being moved, the
optical axis of the touch sensor might go out of alignment. As a result, entries might not be
entered in the right place on the screen, or the pen might not operate correctly. This function
automatically adjusts the position of the touch sensor when the system starts. To ensure the
position is adjusted correctly, do not touch the screen while the system is starting.

Features Descriptions
SMTP Server Settings These settings are necessary to send the whiteboard contents or log by e-mail. For details
about added or changed settings, see page 2 "SMTP Server Settings".
Network Settings These settings are necessary to use remote whiteboard sharing, as well as to send the
whiteboard contents or log by e-mail. For details about added or changed settings, see page
2 "Network Settings".

SMTP Server Settings
Touch the SMTP Server Settings icon in Administrator Settings to congure the SMTP server settings.
The added or changed settings are as follows:

1. Species the e-mail address of the sender.
2. Species whether or not to split a PDF le before sending it as an attachment. This item is selected by default.
3. Species the maximum size of a PDF le attachment after the le is split. The maximum size by default is 5 Mb.
Network Settings
Touch the Network Settings icon in Administrator Settings to congure the network settings.
The added or changed settings are as follows:

1. If you select [Yes] in [Network Auto Settings], specify whether or not to automatically congure the DNS server. If you select
[No] and choose not to automatically congure the DNS server, enter the addresses of [Preferred DNS Server] and [Alter-
nate DNS Server].
2. The MAC address of the wired LAN adapter appears.
