7. Press the Timer button. The timer appears on the display screen. Press UP or DOWN
to adjust the time you need the heater to turn on. After 5 seconds the timer stops
flashing and the timer will auto lock. When you hold the UP or DOWN button, the time
will continuously increase or reduce. Hold the UP or DOWN button until the screen
shows “0:0H” to cancel the timer. The timer range is 0-12 h.
8. Press the power button to switch the unit to standby.
9. Set the main power switch to the o (O) position.
NOTES
1. Within a given temperature range 15-36°C, when the room temperature is higher
than 36°C, the unit will stop heating. Once the temperature drops below 36°C, it will
resume heating.
2. If the temperature inductor is damaged, the unit will stop heating. The screen dis-
plays “E2” 5 times and beeps 3 times.
3. After setting the temperature, press the POWER button. The unit turns o. Press the
POWER button again. The unit will show the previously set temperature.
4. When the unit is turned on, if there is no operation within 12 seconds, the screen and
indicators will switch o. Press any button on the control panel or remote control and
the screen will return to the room temperature.
CHILD LOCK FUNCTION
1. Hold the UP and DOWN buttons for 2.5 seconds. This locks all the operations to pre-
vent children accidentally operating the unit. The screen will show “L” after flashing 5
times and will then return to the room temperature.
2. Hold the UP and DOWN buttons for 2.5 seconds to unlock all the operations.
REMOTE CONTROL
• The remote control uses 1 x CR2025 button cell battery (included). Please remove the
plastic tab before first use. Please see the following section on opening the battery
compartment to replace the battery.
• The remote control buttons have the same functions as that of the control panel.
Note: The remote control must be used within 8 metres of the unit and be pointed at the
front centre of the unit.
SAFETY FEATURES
OVERHEAT PROTECTION
The heater has a built-in safety device that will switch the heater o in case of accidental
overheating. If this happens:
• Set the main power switch to the o (O) position. Unplug the heater and wait 5-10
minutes for the unit to cool down.
