Pump (Electric)
12 volt DC diaphragm pump with free flow up to 19 litres per
minute.
Pump (Petrol)
2” Honda centrifugal pump with free flow up to 450 litres per
minute.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read all instructions and safety warnings supplied with the
pump/engine.
Only trained operatives may use this unit.
Check taillights are working correctly.
Make sure hoses and lances are secure during transport.
Check the unit is securely and correctly attached to the towing vehicle.
The tanker carries a ‘live load’ and surge may take place -
Do not travel at excessive speeds
Do not corner at excessive speeds
Stopping distances will be increased
(Baffles are fitted in the tank to minimize surge)
Never ride on the trailer or tow bar.
Never point the lances at any person.
On petrol engine models, care must be taken when refilling with petrol.
For tankers fitted with a petrol powered pump, you must read and
observe the safety instructions within the pumps manual.
When spraying chemicals, correct safety clothing must be worn.
Read and follow instructions on chemical container.
Check the unit for visual faults before use.
Any faults or observations must be reported as soon as they are noticed

IMPORTANT
DO NOT RUN THE PUMP WITHOUT WATER
DO NOT OVERFILL PETROL TANK –Please refer to engine manual.
The pumps maximum speed has been pre-set and must not be altered.
Do not run the pump for extended periods with all outlets closed.
Protect from frost.
Keep the filter on the suction hose clean.
When the tank is level, calibration is shown in 100 litre increments
ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
Keep the filter on the suction hose clean.
Check engine oil daily.
Check chassis for faults and check wheel nuts are secure.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Prime the pump as per the instruction book.
2. Fill with clean water and chemicals as required, mixing thoroughly.
3. Start the pump as per the instruction book.
4. Set the engine speed and adjust the pressure as required.
5. Open the red tap on the hose.
LIQUID FEED
Please observe the instructions within the pump / engine manual.
MAKE SURE THE RED HANDLED BYPASS VALVE TAP IS CLOSED.
For additives in powder form –pre mix in a container and add slowly to
the tank.
