1. Safety Regulations
During the first use the heater may emit a small amount of vapour which is perfectly normal. The reason for
this is the heating wire element is coated with some lubricant oil during the production process. This will
stop after approx. 5 minutes after the first use and is not a safety concern.
“It is important all electrical devices are plugged into power that is protected by a safety switch.”
• The tubular heater is not suitable for use outdoors in
damp weather.

5. Tubular heater features
Power indicator, adjustable thermostat, thermal cut off.
6. Tubular Heater usage:
•The heater is fitted with an adjustable thermostat which allows the user to control the heat output. In order to maintain a certain
room temperature, set the controller to the maximum setting. Operate the appliance at full power until the required room
temperature is reached. Turn back the thermostatic controller until the appliance switches off with an audible ‘click’. This
temperature will then be regulated and kept at a constant level by the thermostat switching on and off automatically.
•The heater is fitted with a safety device which will switch off the heater in case of accidental overheating.
•To reset, turn down the heater switch for a few minutes to allow the unit to cool down.
•Make sure that any causes of overheating such as obstructions are removed and plug the appliance in again.
•Turn down the switch during summer months, when nobody is at home or heating is not required. Please turn down the switch
until the light goes off.
•Please note that the appliance can only be switched on when the thermostat setting is higher than the room temperature. At its
lowest setting the heater will provide a level of protection against frost.
