Safety Precautions
•ELECTROCUTION HAZARD: Do not use HD-PTZx near any
electrical power source. Verify with your local power company
that the structure you wish to inspect is safe for conductive
equipment such as HD-PTZx.
•EXPLOSION HAZARD: Do not use HD-PTZx in an explosive
environment.
•BODILY HARM HAZARD: Do not position HD-PTZx near
moving machinery.
•BODILY HARM HAZARD: Use caution lowering and supporting
HD-PTZx in high winds.
•Do not operate HD-PTZx in temperatures colder than 14°F (-
10°C) or hotter than 120 °F (50°C).
•Do not drop the HD-PTZx camera on hard surfaces.
•Do not force HD-PTZx into diameters smaller than the camera
head.
•Do not submerge reel controller box.
•HD-PTZx must be plugged into a properly grounded outlet. Use
a Ground Fault Interrupt (GFI) outlet with the HD-PTZx as
required by local code.
•Turn off all power when not in use.
Intended Use
This system is designed for the video survey of infrastructure. The
system’s ability to view at long distances allows many applications,
particularly pipe and vessel viewing where human access is difficult
or unsafe.
