TIPS & TROUBLESHOOTING
The LED Light won’t come on:
Charge your batter using the provided Shadowspec Charger. Please note that the SS-1 will
shut down if the battery discharge below a minimum threshold; this protects the battery from
permanent damage. Please charge to revive.
Tip: The Shadowspec Mobile Application shows the battery status. (The app won’t nd your battery if it’s
discharged.)
The Battery is charged but Light is no longer working:
Check the battery plug is attached to the SS-1 Battery.
Cycle the battery by holding the power button for 10 seconds.
Tip: Hold the button for 10 seconds to reset the SS-1 Battery.
Mobile Application won’t detect the device:
Unit is fully discharged and not in Stand-by mode.
Tip: The default factory password word Shadowspec devices are “12345678”

• Only use the Shadowspec Charger Adapter to charge the Shadowspec SS-1 Bluetooth LED Controller.
• Please charge your SS-1 Smart Baery completely before the very rst me it is used.
• Do not charge the SS-1 Smart Baery whilst ed to the umbrella. (Always use the AC powered
charger indoors and in a dry, safe environment – charge at room temperature.)
• Do not puncture the SS-1 Controller as it contains a Lithium Ion Baery. Do not store your SS-1
Controller on the umbrella when not in use.
• Your SS-1 should not be stored for long me periods when fully charged or uncharged. Opmum
long-term storage condion is between 40% -50% charged.
• Do not expose the SS-1 Controller to temperatures higher than +55 °C.
• Do not dispose of the SS-1 Controller via normal trash disposal. Please recycle responsibly.
