3-1. Removal
of
the
camera
section
Note:
Before removing the cabinet, turn off the power supply, and ascertain that the battery has been removed.
1. Remove two screws ((a)XiPSF20P04000) and three screws ((d)LX-HZ0018TAFF), and pull out the camera front cabinet (1).

Note:
When assembling the camera rear cabinet, lay the FPC between
the camera shield case and the tilt frame C, and insert it into the
connector.
3. Remove two screws ((a)XiPSF20P04000) and one screw ((d)LX-HZ0018TAFF), and pull out the camera rear cabinet (2) backwards.

4. Remove one
screw
((a)XiPSF20P04000), remove the battery terminal, and remove the wire from the claw.

5. Remove two connectors, four screws ((c)XiPSD20P03000) and a
screw
((b)XiPSC20P03000), and pull out the lens unit from the tilt
frame C.

6. Remove one
screw
((d) LX-HZ0018TAFF), hold the side as
shown
in Figure A, remove the lens holder, rotating it in the
arrow
direction
and pushing the claw.

7. Disengage the claw of the lens section, using the point of a pen as shown in Figure B, and pull out the lens upwards.

Note:
Be careful so as notto damagethe FPC since the camera PWBunit
is connected to the lens unit with FPC in this state.
8. Remove the camera PWBunit and lens unit together, opening two claws of battery holder outwards.

Disassembly
of
the
set
1. Removing the bottom cover
(1) Remove three screws ((a)XiPSF20P04000) and two screw
((d)LX-Hl0018TAFF), and remove the bottom cover from the
main body.

2. Removing the VTR lid
(1) Remove the connector.
(2) Turn the tilt frame C so that the screwdriver can be easily
inserted, and remove one screw ((h)LX-Bl0190TAFF).
(3) Move the lid opening button in the arrow direction, and open the
lid.

(4) Remove the VTR lid from the main body.
Note:
This product is designed so that the ejection SW of cassette
compartment is activated when the VTR lid is opened. When
mounting the VTR lid, locate the VTR lid side fixture under the pin Ejection SW
of ejection lever. If the fixture is located above the pin of ejection
lever, the cassette compartment is not ejected when the VTR lid is
opened. Therefore, be careful when mounting the VTR lid.

3. Removing the tilt cover
(1)Turn thetilt frame C inthe Adirection to align the hole oftilt frame
C with the
screw
position, remove one
screw
((d)LX-
HZ0018TAFF), and remove the tilt cover from the main body.
4. Removing the cabinet L
(1) Remove five screws ((d)LX-HZ0018TAFF).

(2)Turn the tilt frame C so that the screwdriver can be easily
inserted, and remove two screws ((a)XiPSF20P04000).
(3) Remove the FPCconnector, and remove the cabinet Lfrom the

5. Removing the tilt unit
(1) Remove one screw ((d)LX-HZ0018TAFF), three screws
((a)XiPSF20P04000) and three connectors, and remove the tilt
unit from the main body.

6. Removing the LCD unit
(1) Remove three screws ((d)LX-HZ0018TAFF) and two connec-
tors, and remove the LCD unit (with inverter) from the main body.

7. Removing the cassette compartment cover
(1) Remove one screw ((j)LX-BZ0175TAFF) fixing the cassette
compartment cover, and slide the cassette compartmentcover
in the A direction to remove it from the cassette compartment.
Note:
When mountingthe cassettecompartmentcover, ascertainthatthe
cassette compartment catches B, C and D of cassette compart-
ment shown below are securely engaged with the dogs E, F and G
of cassette compartmentcover as shown in Views H and I. (Screw
tightening torque: 0.108 ±0.01N.m (1.1 ±0.1kgf.cm))

(1) Remove three screws ((i)LX-BZ0191TAFD) and one connector,
and remove the cabinet V from the main body.

1. Disengage two claws, and
remove the lamp unit(1)from
the LCD holder (2).
2. Remove the sheets from the
LCD holder (2).
3. Pull the LCD holding sheet
(3).
4. Disengage the claw (8), and
slide the LCDpanel (4)inthe
(C) direction to remove the
LCD holder (2).
Note:
At this time, be careful so that
the FPC of LCD panel (4) is not
damaged by the claw (D).
When handling the prism sheet,
diffusion sheet, light guide plate,
andreflectionsheet,donottouch
any parts other than lugs and
sides.
