IntroductionIntroduction
Congratulations !! You have just purchased the fastest and latest graphics and multimedia accelerator
cardavailableonthe market -- the HOT-137/HOT-139. Under DOS,Windows and OS/2, it featuresup
to 16.7 million colors at resolutions up to 1600 x 1280, and screen refresh rates up to 75Hz.
The HOT-137/HOT-139 are true 64-bit PCI accelerators. It incorporates IGS's IGA1680 graphics and
multimediasingle chip, toperform highspeed fills,line draws,BitBlts,it masking, andscissoring func-
tions in accelerated modes.
This product is more than just a hardware accelerator card. It comes complete with extensive drivers
andcomprehensive software utilitiesdesignedto enhance yourproductivity.

These cards have:
Highperformance acceleration VGAcardin PCI bus.
High screen refresh rates up to 75Hz. Provide Flicker-Free environment for health
eyes.
High resolution modes include 1024 x 768 x 64K colors in 75Hz, and 1600 x 1200 x
256colors in 60Hz.

Support all the VGA, super VGA, and multi-sync monitors.

What should you have inside the package ?
YourHOT-137/HOT-139 package includesthefollowing hardware, software,anddocumentation:

What you'll need ?
Computer System - Intel 486, Pentium, or compatible.
Expansion Slot - Require at least one PCI bus slot.
Operating System - DOS 5.0 or higher, Windows 3.1, OS/2 2.1 or higher.
Monitor - VGA, supporting minimum 640 x 480 resolution.
Display Drivers - Any standard VGA or VESA drivers. For best performance, use the
IGA1680 drivers supplied with these cards.

Document Conventions
This manual uses the following typographical conventions to help you find, identify, and use
information.
Type Style Used For
bold A command name or text. You type it exactly as it appears. e.g.,
you type SETUPWIN to run the HOT-137/139 installation
program.
italic A variable parameter. You substitute it with an appropriate
value or text.
CAPS An item or a label. e.g., IGA1680 Utilities is a menu item in the
HOT-137/139 installation program.
< > A keyboard key symbol. The key is shown inside the brackets.
e.g., <Enter> or <Y>.
< >+< > A key sequence. Press and hold the first key, then press the
second key. e.g., <Alt>+<F>.
