IP Camera with Pan/Tilt
User Manual

Safety
Please read this manual first before using the product. Follow the instructions on otherwise the guarantee
expire. Always take all security measures to fire and/or electric shock. It is also advisable to repairs/modifications
etc. to qualified personnel to prevent an electric shock.. Save this manual for future use.
1.
Please save your packaging so you if the device is defective, can send this in its original packaging to prevent damage.
2.
Before the device is operated, always consult an expert first.
3.
In the device are located under parts; do not open this device.
4.
When removing the plug/adaptor from the outlet never to pull the power cord.
5.
Remove or insert a plug/adapter with wet hands or out and into the wall outlet.
6.
If power cords are damaged must be restored by a professional.
7.
If the device is damaged that internal parts are visible should NEVER be placed in the socket the plug and the device never
be enabled. In this case, contact the dealer.
8.
Repair to the device should be done by a professional or an expert.
9.
Connect the device only to a 220-240VAC/50 Hz (grounding) wall outlet.

PCAM is an integrated wireless IP camera. It combines a high quality digital video camera with
network connection and a powerful web server to display a clear picture of a desired location on your local network or over the
internet. The basic function of IPCAM is sending video images remotely on the IP network. The high quality video recording
can be sent with a speed of 30 fps on the LAN/WAN by using MJPEG hardware compression technology.
The IPCAM is based on the TCP/IP standard. The integrated WEB server supports Internet Explore. Therefore the use of your
device a lot simpler when using the network for the remote configuration, start-up and upgrade firmware.
You can use this IPCAM special places to guard at home, at work and elsewhere. Open the website via the network.

IPCAM supports Multi Protocol such as TCP/IP, SMTP and HTTP. Send images to your mailbox when the IPCAM is activated.
-Motion Detection
You can use the internal function or the external sensor.
-Alarm sensor output
The sensor sends an alarm and automatically takes on in the event of a fire or an accident. By this sensor is an email sent to
you. (The in-/uitgangs-discretie can be chosen) DDNS support
Use the IPCAM in the condition that ADSL and IP includes is easier because IPCAM a dynamic DNS feature provides.

RESET BUTTON: press and hold the RESET button for 5 seconds and the IP camera comes back in the factory default
setting.
1.4 PC system requirements
System configuration requirements: (e.g. to the IP Camera view)
CPU: 2.06 GHZ or higher memory: 256 m or higher
Network card: 10 m or higher Display Card: 64 m or higher
Recommended operating system: Windows2000 or Windows XP
1.5 Hardware Instruction
Use the following steps to set your camera hardware. Make sure you do every step carefully.
1) Plug the network cable into the camera and into your DSL router.
2) Plug the adapter into the camera and then into the wall outlet.
Note: use only the power adapter that came with the camera malfunction.
3) The camera has about 30 seconds to boot up before an IP address appears (details: 2.1).
4) The head will now spin around at a proper connection and the network Indicator LED will blink.
1.6 Software installation
The Software installation is the key to a successful use of this product.

Open the CD, look for the software.

Double click IPCamSetup. exe and install the software.

The computer reboots after completion and an icon will appear automatically.
NB: before installing and using is started, please first read the following measures.
Use only the power adapter that came with the camera malfunction. The IP
Camera should be installed indoors.
2 SOFTWARE CONTROL
2.1 IP Camera Tool
If the appliance is correct mounted/posted, then double click the icon "IP Camera Tool" and the following (fig 2.1) appears in
the dialog box

Note: the software searches IP Servers automatically in LAN.
There are 3 possibilities:

No IP Camera found in LAN. After about 1 minute searching appears "not found". The IP Server and log off automatically

Installed IP Cameras found in LAN. All IP Cameras are displayed in Fig 2.1.

Not the installed IP Cameras in LAN share the same subnet. (Prompt: Subnet doesn't match, dbclick to
change!) appears. Click links to get the prompt to choose and then right click, choose "Network Configuration to set the IP
address of the Camera to the same subnet as LAN".
Five Options
Choose the IP Camera list, right click and you will find 5 options: Basic Properties, Network Configuration, Upgrade Firmware,
Refresh Camera List, Flush Arp Buffer, see fig 2.2.
Basic Properties
Information in Basic Properties, such as Device ID, System Firmware Version, Web UI Version.

Network Configuration
Configure the network parameter.

DHCP checkbox: the device obtains IP of the DHCP server (to make sure that the Router, which is connected to the unit, a
DHCP function).
IP address: Enter the assigned IP address and make sure it is in the same subnet as the gateway (e.g. the first three sections
are the same)
Mask: The default subnet mask is: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: make sure this IP address in the same subnet as the PC. Default gateway address is 192.168.0.1
DNS: IP address of IPS network provider.
Port: assigned LAN port is 80
User & Password: Default user & Password: admin/No password
Use DHCP, the system will only assign an IP address as the gateway supports DHCP. Note: If the prompt "subnet
doesn't match, dbclick to change!" appears, set IP Camera IP address.
Upgrade Firmware
Enter the user name and Password in order to upgrade the System Firmware and Web UI.

Refresh Camera list: empty/refresh the Camera list manually.

Flush Arp Buffer memory: if cable-network and wireless network a fixed IP address. A problem might arise if camera IP
is found but the camera webpage cannot be opened. Use Flush Arp Buffer.
2.2 Camera Login
You can access the camera through IP Camera Tool or IE.
1) Double click the IP address of the IP Camera in the list (Fig 2.1). IE will open automatically and the camera login page
appears.
2) Direct access to the IE browser, type the IP address of the camera in bv:

Enter your account and password on the login page, see Fig 2.6. , by default,administrator's username is: admin and no
password cannot be blank. Click "Sign in" to the monitoring page (Figure 2.7) to come. Enter the user name and password
such as Administrator, Operator, or Visitor.

E.g.: when lit, the motion detection enabled (Motion Detection).
OSD: display date and time. You can turn off this feature.
(OSD: on-screen display)
Insert date: When checked, the time display in the right down corner of the video recording are displayed.
Audio buffer: set the audio buffer in: seconds
Audio switch: Click to open and the icon changed to audio in audio , click Close. REC: click REC
icon, stops recording. (audio is incorporated as the audio switch Is "open")
Snapshot: Click to take a picture from the picture.
NB:
The recording file name is: Alias_ current date and time.Avi
Bv: IPCAM_20081211134442 .avi
(The name of the camera is IPCAM and the recorded end time is:
13: 44: 42 on December 11, 2008
2.4 for operator
At login as an operator or administrator, choose For Operator.
