For your riding safety, please read this manual and the user guide carefully, and also watch the video on riding guidance before using

SOLOWHEEL Glide2 Versions (hereinafter referred to as SOLOWHEEL Glide 2) to understand how to correctly drive the SOLOWHEEL Glide2.

Please read carefully and understand all the safety warnings and precautions in this manual, which is helpful for you to better control the

SOLOWHEEL Glide2.

This manual applies to the SOLOWHEEL Glide2 produced by SOLOWHEEL Technologies CO.,Ltd.

1. About the Product

SOLOWHEEL Glide2 is a fashionable, interesting, and practical travel and entertainment tool. In line with the dynamic balance principle,

SOLOWHEEL Glide2 can detect changes of its body pose with the built-in gyroscope and acceleration sensor, and accurately drive a

motor by the servo control system to adjust accordingly for balance. Users can move forward, speed up, slow down, brake the Glide2,

and perform other riding operations by tilting their bodies forth or back, and also can keep the lateral balance by controllingtheir bodies.

1.1. Product Serial Number

The serial number, a 16-character sequence normally accompanied by one-dimensional barcode or belowtwo-dimensional barcode, is

the unique identifier of the product. It is used for quality tracing, after-sales service, insurance claim, lost confirmation, and other

occasions. Please make sure to record and keep the serial number.

You can obtain the product serial number from: outer package of the product, product warranty card, and SOLOWHEEL Glide2 body.

1.3.Handle bar and assist Mode

SOLOWHEEL Glide2 provides optional handle bar that must to be purchased from SOLOWHEEL and installed by users themselves. The

assist mode enables the system to provide proper riding force at a lower power and help users push SOLOWHEEL Glide2 easily when

users do not want to ride or when the condition is not suitable for riding (for instance, insufficient electric quantity, steep slope, wet and

slippery ground, sand, bumpy road, crowded environment, etc.), which greatly improves the portability.

1.4.Button for Preventing Tire Rotation

Due to the unique algorithm of SOLOWHEEL Glide2, if the body angle varies after the Glide2 body lifts off the ground under normal

startup state, motor spinning accelerates until the Glide2 is shut down. If being placed on the ground during motor acceleration, the

SOLOWHEEL Glide2 is likely to fly off due to the friction between wheels and ground, and there is the risk of running into others in some

cases, such as elevators, stairs, getting on or off the bus, or crowed places.

The anti-spinning key below the body handle is designed for the SOLOWHEEL Glide2 according to its characteristics. When the user

holds the handle to lift up the SOLOWHEEL Glide2, the key will be automatically triggered, and the SOLOWHEEL Glide2 will enter the

sleep state. In the meantime, the motor will no longer rotate to avoid spinning accordingly. Remove your hand from the handle key

to let the SOLOWHEEL Glide2 fall to the ground again. The SOLOWHEEL Glide2 will return to normal condition for continual use.

The “Button for Preventing Tire Rotation” function is enabled by default when SOLOWHEEL Glide2 leaves the factory.

You need to shut down this function on the mobile APP if i learning rope for operation is installed on the handle. Users need to know the

above functions and agree to accept the relevant legal liability statements when using this function.

1.5.Over speed Protection

SOLOWHEEL Glide2 limits the maximum riding speed to avoid dangers caused by too fast riding. When the Glide2 riding speed reaches the

maximum speed set by the system, the pedal will slightly tilt up for 3~5° accompanied by alarm sound. Users are required to slow down

at this time. Do not accelerate forcibly (there is risk of car crash if performing forced acceleration, the personal injuries and all losses

caused by failure to operate according to the specificationshall be borne by the users themselves). The pedal will return to normal angle

once the normal speed is recovered.

When the electric quantity is less than 2 scales, the maximum speed limit will reduce gradually. When the electric quantity is increased or

lower than the minimum riding voltage (0 scale), the SOLOWHEEL Glide2 body will automatically tilt up the pedal to give the user the hint

to stop riding; otherwise, damage is caused to the SOLOWHEEL Glide2.

1.6. Slant Protection

When the left and right tilt angle of the SOLOWHEEL Glide2 body is more than 45° during riding, the system will induce the abnormality of

the SOLOWHEEL Glide 2 body, and will automatically exit the self-balancing mode, so as to prevent the personal injuries caused by high-speed

rotating tires after the tilting of the SOLOWHEEL Glide2 body. In the meantime, the SOLOWHEEL Glide2 plays the prompt tone of “Be careful”.

It is only necessary to correct the SOLOWHEEL Glide2 body at this time to automatically enter the self-balancing mode.

1.7. SOLOWHEEL APP

SOLOWHEEL APP is mobile software designed for SOLOWHEEL users by SOLOWHEEL Technologies Co., Ltd. to realize SOLOWHEEL Glide 2

control, make friends, release articles, attend SOLOWHEEL activities and purchase accessories. The English name of SOLOWHEEL APP is “

SOLOWHEEL”.SOLOWHEEL APP can be downloaded from our official website or corresponding APP stores(IOS system: Apple App Store;

Android system: Google Play).

The following functions can be realized through SOLOWHEEL APP: startup/shutdown, turn on/off the light, speed display, mileage display,

electric quantity display, SOLOWHEEL Glide2 body parameter setting, voice customization, fault detection, after-sales service, firmware

upgrade, etc.



Bluetooth 4.0 BLE applies to Android 4.3 or above, IPhone 4S or above, IOS7.0 and superior versions, which can connect

SOLOWHEEL Glide2 with mobile phones.

2. Use of SOLOWHEEL Glide2 Series

2.1 Safe Riding Precaution

SOLOWHEEL Glide2 is a kind of intelligent travel and commuting and entertainment device. Failure to operate the SOLOWHEEL

Glide2 according to the procedures specified in this manual may result in riding risk. r Regardless of the time and location, it is likely to

cause injuries even death and/or property loss to you due to decline, out of control, crash, etc., including riding the SOLOWHEEL Glide2

without complying with the requirements described in this manual. You are advised to carefully read and follow this manual completely,

watch relevant safety videos,and strictly follow the precautions below to reduce risks and to avoid injuries and losses:

·Users need to charge SOLOWHEEL Glide2 at least once every month at room temperature. The battery damages caused by no regular

maintenance are excluded from the warranty coverage of our company.

·Please wear a helmet and a protective gear during riding, and ensure that the pull rod has been folded in place.

·Do not drive the SOLOWHEEL Glide2 to go up and down the slopes of more than 18°. Do not conduct rapid acceleration, rapid decelera-

tion, and sudden turns either.

·Pay attention to obstacles on the road.

·Do not drive the SOLOWHEEL Glide2 on the grass, gravel roads, wet and slippery roads, and under other inappropriate road conditions.

·The fording depth must be less than 70mm.

·Do not drive the SOLOWHEEL Glide2 to climb up and down the stairs.

·Do not drive the SOLOWHEEL Glide2in the motor vehicle lanes.

·Do not soak the SOLOWHEEL Glide2 in water.

·The riding speed must not exceed the maximum speed limits of this model.

·Do not perform rapid acceleration after tilting up the pedal (tilting the SOLOWHEEL Glide2 body back).

·Do not sit on the pull rod or SOLOWHEEL Glide2.

·Do not lift up the SOLOWHEEL Glide2 in startup state.

·The beginners less than 18 years old or over 45 years old must be accompanied by others while learning how to drive the SOLOWHEEL Glide2.

·Please ensure that the electric quantity is sufficient; and the tire pressure is normal before riding the SOLOWHEEL Glide2.

·Please drive at a low speed instead of performing rapid acceleration, rapid deceleration, high-speed riding, and challenging stunts

before being skilled in riding.

2.2 Preparations before riding

SOLOWHEEL Glide2 is a high-tech travel and commuting device. riding without learning about operating specifications may cause

unexpected injuries and/or property loss. The instructions below are made for users, and contain details about how to properly drive

SOLOWHEEL Glide2. Matters needing attention during riding are also listed. Please read them carefully and drive SOLOWHEEL Glide

2in accordance with the instructions.

·Make sure that all parts of SOLOWHEEL Glide2 are free from damageandinstalled in placebefore riding.

·Charge the batteries of SOLOWHEEL Glide2 for more than 1.5h before riding.

·You can practice riding in an open indoor or outdoor area that is flat and wide, and covers at least4m * 4m.

·Make sure that you know the surrounding riding environment well so that the SOLOWHEEL Glide2 is free from the disturbance of cars, pedestrians, pets,

bikes and other obstacles.

·Be accompanied by an assistant who is familiar with the operation of SOLOWHEEL Glide2 as well as all the precautions and riding

methods described in this manual.
