1. INTRODUCTION
New Soundsation DSKIT-7 is a prime solution to mike your
acoustic drum-set. New reduced size designed microphones
give them a better cosmetic appeal and discretion in com-
parison to the used drum-set. Ideal for modern drummers,
this kit gives max reliability both live performances and stu-
dio recording applications. Each microphone mounts a high
quality capsule and its frequency response has been optimized
according to the drum instrument to mike (snare, tom, bass
drum, cymbals). DSKIT-7 includes supports for various types of
microphone and comes with a ight case for easy transport.

3. PACKAGE CONTENTS
Your DSKIT-7 was carefully packed to ensure safe transport. De-
spite this, we recommend you to carefully examine the package
and its contents for any signs of physical damage, which can
occur during transport. In the package there are the following
items:

4. CONNECTION AND SETUP
Use a 3-pin XLR audio cables to connect microphones to the
mixer (or other preamp board). After having placed the micro-
phones, start adjusting sound on your mixer by setting to ‘OFF’
or ‘FLAT’ the relative channels EQ rst. Then use EQ, reverb,
echo or any signal processing to create special eects, accord-
ing to your creative idea.
5. STORAGE
After use, remove eventually the windscreen lters (in CM-1000)
and supports, wipe them with a clean cloth and place in the
supplied ight-case. In any case, please be noticed that con-
denser capsule (CM-1000) is extremely sensitive to moisture. So,
if the microphones is being used regularly, we strongly suggest
you to cover them with a protective cloth.
6. CM-1000 Condenser Microphone
CM-1000 is a professional condenser microphone with wide
frequency response and high frequency resolution. It is ideal for
cymbals (Hi-Hat, Ride, Crash, Etc.) and requires Phantom Power
of 9V to 52V.
Connect CM-1000 to the mixer (or other preamp board) before
applying power, and never remove the cable while the pow-
er is connected. If the mixer or preamp does not contain this
phantom power requirement, then an external phantom power
supply is needed

BDM-30 is a Bass drum microphone with full low frequency
response for strong and dynamical bass eect pick up.
