Thank you for choosing the SPYPOINT®Infrared Booster. This
manual will help you get the most out of your new device.
The IRB-W/IRB-W-B are wireless devices used to optimize infrared lighting
and increase quality for nighttime photos and videos.

ALKALINE BATTERIES
IR-Booster
The IRB-W/IRB-W-B are powered by 4 D batteries
(1.5V), not included. To install the batteries, open
the cover on bottom side of the IRB-W/IRB-W-B.
Insert batteries as indicated, battery polarity must be
followed (+ and -).
Transmitter
The transmitter is powered by 2 AAA batteries (1.5V),
not included. To install batteries, turn the strap clip
and pull battery cover upwards. Insert batteries as
indicated in the battery compartment, battery polarity
must be followed (+ and -).

POWER
BATTERY LEVEL
It is possible to know the battery level of the IRB-W/IRB-W-B and the
wireless transmitter when turned on. The battery life indicator will be on for
a period of 8 seconds when the batteries are full. When the indicator blinks
for 8 seconds, the batteries are low and need to be replaced. If the indicator
remains off, the batteries are completely empty or are possibly installed in the
wrong polarity (+ and -).
Tip: At each visit to the installation site of IRB-W/IRB-W-B and wireless
transmitter, make sure to verify the level of your batteries by doing the ON/
OFF procedure.
Note: The use of 50 or 100 LED mode has a direct influence on the energy
supplied by the batteries (50 LED is more efficient than 100 LED) and
therefore on the operation autonomy of the IRB-W/IRB-W-B.

INSTALLATION WITH THE TRANSMITTER
(IRB-W / IRB-W-B)
1. Maximum distance for wireless transfer between transmitter and IRB-W/
IRB-W-B is 50 ft.
2. Install the wireless transmitter on the camera strap with the strap clip.
3. Attach the infrared sensor in front of the cameras LED with the adjustable
elastic (included). See figure on the next page.
4. Turn on the transmitter and the IR-Booster.
Please note that the voltage of rechargeable (AAA and D) batteries
(1.2V) is insufficient to power the SPYPOINT®IR-Booster and
transmitter. We also recommend the use of new batteries to ensure maximum
performance of the devices.
Tip : During storage of IRB-W/IRB-W-B and wireless transmitter for more
than 30 days, remove batteries to avoid leaking problems.
EXTERNAL (12V)
IR-Booster
The IRB-W/IRB-W-B can also be powered by an external 12-volt DC input
such as a 12-volt battery (KIT-12V, BATT-12V or KIT6V/12V, sold separately)
or a 12-volt adapter (AD-12V, sold separately) to enhance its operation time.
For available accessories, refer to the AVAILABLE ACCESSORIES section.

INSTALLATION WITHOUT THE TRANSMITTER FOR
REMOSTM CAMERAS (IRB-W-B)
The transmitter is not neccessary when the IRB-W-B is used with
REMOSTM compatible cameras.
1. Activate the IR-BOOSTER option in the settings on a REMOSTM compatible
camera.
2. Turn on the IRB-W-B.
3. Install the IRB-W-B at a maximum of 4 ft above the ground (for hunting)
and on a stable surface (e.g. a tree). The wireless range betwen the camera
and the IRB-W-B is maximum 50 ft.
4. The IRB-W-B synchronizes with the infrared LEDs of the camera. It is
instantly triggered by a wireless signal when the camera takes a photo or
video.
5. Install the IRB-W/IRB-W-B at a maximum of 4 ft above the ground (for
hunting) and on a stable surface (e.g. a tree).
6. The transmitter synchronizes with the infrared LEDs of the camera.
The IR-Booster is instantly triggered by a wireless signal when the camera
takes a photo or video.

NON-RECOMMENDED INSTALLATION
We do not recommend installing the IRB-W/IRB-W-B facing the camera to
avoid overexposure of the photos and videos.

Rechargeable 12V battery & charger set

Infrared Booster from an electrical outlet.

WARRANTY AND REPAIR
This SPYPOINT®product designed by GG Telecom, is covered by a one (1)
year warranty on material and workmanship starting from the original date of
purchase. The sales receipt is your proof of purchase and must be presented
if warranty service is needed. This warranty will be honored in the country of
purchase only.
This warranty does not cover any GG Telecom product which has been
subjected to misuse, neglect and accidents or has been improperly used
or maintained. In addition, this warranty is not applicable for all products
purchased online from an unauthorized dealer. Any modifi cation or tampering
of the product will affect its operation, performance, durability and voids this
warranty.

Infrared Booster to the KIT-12V.
Rechargeable 12V battery, charger & housing
