Please read these instructions carefully before using the heat pump and keep them for future reference:
1. Always keep the unit upright. If the unit has been tilted or put on its side, wait 24h before starting the heat
pump.
2. Put the unit on a at, solid base.
3. Do not drop the heat pump.
4. The heat pump must always be installed outdoors.
5. Check if the voltage indicated on the RCD of the heat pump corresponds to the local mains voltage before
you connect the unit.
6. Do not pull the mains plug with unnecessary force. Do not wrap the mains plug around the heat pump.
7. Do not use the heat pump in combination with a transformer.
8. If the heat pump is damaged during transportation, it must be replaced, please contact your service centre or
similarly qualied persons in order to avoid a hazard.
9. Always make sure the water connections of the heat pump are properly locked before you start using the
machine.
10. Never insert objects directly into the fan, as this will cause it to become blocked and damaged.
11. The evaporator ns must not be damaged.
12. This heat pump is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or
lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
heat pump by a person responsible for their safety.
13. Children should always be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the heat pump.
14. Disconnect the mains plug from the socket when the heat pump is not in use and before cleaning.
The heat pump will always perform very well, provided the following elements are present

It is normal for condensation to come out of the heat pump. This is not a leak or fault with the unit. If the
humidity is very high, the condensation could be a number of liters a day.
4. Preparing the heat pump for use
4.1. Typical conguration & distance from the pool
The heat pump should be located at least 2m away from the swimming pool. In normal operation, the air taken
by the heat pump is cooled down and water may condens on the ns of the evaporator and run out of the
bottom of the unit.
4.2. Hose connection.

4.3. Electrical connection
The RCD is available in EU-version.
Make sure your outlet is earthed.
The pool circulation pump must operate with the heat pump. Therefore, connect them to the same circuit
used for outdoor.

6. Guidelines
6.1. Cold/harsh weather conditions
Your heat pump is designed to operate in rainy weather conditions and withstand frost using a specially created
antifrost technology. However it is not recommended to leave it outside for long periods of time (eg over winter).
After draining down the pool for the winter, store the heat pump in a dry place.
6.2. Restarting the heat pump after long term storage
If your heat pump has been stored for a long time, perform the following steps when re-starting the system:
1. Inspect the system for any debris or damage to the case.
2. Clean the evaporator ns with a soft cloth if necessary. Make sure the evaporator ns are clean. Blocking the
air intake will cause insufcient operation and will result in lower production of heat.
3. Check the fan for blockages.
4. Connect the water inlet and outlet.
5. Turn on the pool water circulation pump to start the water ow to the heat pump.
6. Restore electrical power to the heat pump and press the green button on the RCD.
7. Maintenance and error messages
1. Check the water supply to and from the unit often. Low water ow or air entering into the pipes should be
avoided, as this will diminish the heat pump performance and reliability. You should clean the swimming pool
water regularly to avoid damage to the heat pump as a result of dirty pool water. Please check the information
about warranty in section 9.
2. The area around the heat pump should be clear and well ventilated. Clean the evaporator and evaporator
guard regularly to maintain good air ow and efciency.
3. Check the power supply and cable connection often. In case of abnormal operation or a smell of burning near
the electrical compartment, switch off the heat pump and contact your dealer.
4. You should discharge the water at the bottom of the heat pump if the unit doesn’t work for an extended period
of time.
The heat pump will show an error message in case of a problem. The following messages can occur:
Alarm Cause Solution
TCO It’s too cold outside (The temperature
is below 10°C) .
The heat pump will start automatically when the ambient air
temperature rises above 10°C.
AL1 One of the heat pump sensors is
damaged.
The heat pump does not restart automatically. Turn the heat
pump OFF and ON. Check whether AL1 keeps coming back. If
the alarm remains on the display please contact your service
centre or similarly qualifi ed persons in order to avoid a hazard.
AL2 The pressure of the compressor is
too high.
The heat pump does not restart automatically. Turn the heat
pump OFF and ON. Check whether AL2 keeps coming back. If
the alarm remains on the display please contact your service
centre or similarly qualifi ed persons in order to avoid a hazard.
When TCO, AL1 or AL2 occur you can check the current water temperature by pushing the up arrow. By
pushing the down arrow you can check the current air temperature inside the heat pump.

2. Veiligheidsvoorschriften
