2.1.1.Insert Batteries
Fully charge batteries before use. (Refer to Section 3)
Insert batteries in correct polarity and tighten the
bottom cap.

2.1.Set up
2.1.2.Clip smartphones
1.Turn the holding arm up so the M3s logo is facing the front.
2.Rotate the auto-pressure clip clockwise until the clip is facing outward.
3.Press the clip button to open the clip. Do not hold on the clip to obstruct its opening.
4.Open the clip and put on the smartphone with camera facing outwards. Release the button
to close the clip. (The smartphone should be nearly balance before switching on. Adjust the
smartphone a bit outward to achieve if necessary.)
5.Switch on the smartphone and the app “SwiftCam for Mobile”.
6.Rotate the arm so the smartphone screen is facing towards the joystick.
2.1.3.Put on Balance Plugin
Put on the provided Balance Plugin as shown.
(For large size or heavier smartphone only e.g. iPhone 6+,
Samsung Note 4, Sony Z3 etc.)
2.1.4.Switch on the gimbal
1.Hold M3s in an upright position.
2.Hold the smartphone in a horizontal position.
3.Press the power button once and the power indicator
will light on.
4.Press the joystick for 5s to switch on and the arm
adjusts to balancing point automatically.

Important note
Do not switch on when M3s is not in upright position.
Do not shake M3s.

2.2.Switch shooting modes
1. Hold M3s in an upright position.
2. Press joystick once to switch shooting modes.
Mode 1: Full Follow
(Blue mode indicator light on.)
Smartphone follows but smoothens pitch (tilt up, tilt down) and
pan movements (pan left, pan right).
Mode 2: Pan Follow
(Green mode indicator light on.)
Smartphone locks on tilt up/down axis but follows and
smoothens pan movements (pan left, pan right).
Mode 3: Full Lock
(Amber mode indicator light on.)
Smartphone locks on all axis including tilting up/down
and panning left/right.
Important note
Do not switch shooting mode when M3s is not in upright position.

Important note
Do not exceed the operating angles of each axis.
Important note
Do not adjust M3s by hand when it is not in upright position.
Vibration is the signal of improper usage. To stop the vibration,
1. Hold M3s in upright position and adjust the smartphone
facing to yourself by hand.
2. Continue to use when the vibration stops.

2.6.Calibration
Calibration can be performed whenever the following occurs:
1. The smartphone holder appears slanting downward when the gimbal
is held upright.
2. The smartphone holder drifts slowly despite the gimbal is held still.
Calibration procedure:
1. Power o M3s. Clip smartphone on it.
2. Long press the joystick.
3. Keep pressing the joystick and then press power button once
to switch on the gimbal.
4. All shooting mode indicators light on. Release the joystick.
5. Rotate the joystick along the bound for 3 rounds.
6. Turn the holding arm up so the M3s logo is facing the front.
Rotate the auto-pressure clip clockwise until the camera
is facing outwards.
7. Long press the centre of the joystick until all shooting mode
indicators light o.
8. Release the holding arm. M3s will restart automatically.
9. Calibration completes.

3.2.Safety precautions
1. Please read this manual carefully before usage.
2. Do not use the charger if damage is found in any part.
3. Do not use the charger if it has been suered from dropping or shocking.
4. Do not open/disassemble the charger.
5. Unplug the charger AND remove batteries before maintenance or cleaning.
6. Remove all batteries from M3s and put them in the package box while not in use.
7. Do not put any metal materials (e.g. coins) near the batteries for storage.
8. If the temperature of the operating charger is abnormally high, please stop charging
immediately and replace batteries with new original batteries. If this situation remains,
please send the charger to manufacturer for checking.
9. Unplug the USB cable when the charger is not in use.
10. Unplug the USB cable if the charger is going to be unattended.
11. Do not leave batteries in the charger for more than 2 weeks.
12. Malfunctioned/damaged/dead batteries should be wrapped with insulated materials
before putting into batteries recycle box.
13. Do not put the charger or rechargeable batteries in places with high humidity and
temperature or under direct sunlight.
14. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge
if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a
safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children should not play with the
appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be made by children without
supervision.
