Wearing the SWITLIK Face Shield
• Prior to shipping, SWITLIK has
disinfected the face shield. Please
allow the shield to air out for a few
minutes before wearing.
• Headband should be worn in the
middleoftheforehead, just above
the eyebrows.
Adult Face Shield
• Excess Velcro can be trimmed.
Youth Face Shield
• Secure face shield by overlapping the Velcro and elastic straps
behind head. The face shield should be snug to avoid slipping.
Cleaning Instructions
Shield
The face shield can be removed and disinfected by wiping with
a clean cloth saturated with neutral detergent solution or
disinfectant wipe.
While wearing gloves, wipe outside of the shield with clean water or
alcohol to remove residue.
Allow shield to fully dry before re-attaching to headband.
Remove gloves and wash hands.
Replacement shields are available.
Headband
To clean and sanitize headband, machine wash with detergent and
hang until dry.
This product has been authorized by the FDA under the Emergency Use
Act for use by healthcare providers as personal protective equipment.
Re-assembling the Face Shield
• Align headband with Velcro tabs on shield.
• Secure Velcro tab on center of face shield to Velcro tab on center of
headband.
• Secure the headband to the face shield by joining the side Velcro tabs
together.
