•MakesurethattheMainssupplytotheunitisdisconnectedbeforeperforminganymaintenanceor
electricalwork!
•Allelectricalconnectionsandmaintenanceworkmustbecarriedoutbyanauthorizedinstallerand
inaccordancewithlocalrulesandregulations.
Warning
•Thesystemshouldoperatecontinuously,andonlybestoppedformaintenance/service.
•Theinstallationoftheunitandcompleteventilationsystemsmustbeperformedbyanauthorized
installerandinaccordancewithlocalrulesandregulations.
•Bewareofsharpedgesduringmountingandmaintenance.Useprotectivegloves.
•AlthoughtheMainssupplytotheunithasbeendisconnectedthereisstillriskforinjuryduetothe
rotatingpartsthathavenotcometoacompletestandstill.
•Makesurethatltersaremountedbeforestartingtheunit.
•Thisproductmustonlybeoperatedbyapersonwhichhassuitableknowledgeoreducationwithin
thiseldorcarriedoutwiththesupervisionofasuitablyqualiedperson.

Removethelid(pos2)ofthebypassdamperbyloosening4screws(pos1).

Disconnectallthecables:disconnect4–pinconnector(pos1),3–pinconnector(pos2),groundGND
connector(pos3)andmodularjackcablingtothefronthatch(pos4).

Loosenthedamperlockingscrewswithablackknob(pos1).

Slightlyliftupthebypassdamper(pos1)andthenremoveitbypullingitoutside(pos2).

Mountthenewbypassdamper(pos1),lockitintotheposition(pos2).

Placeandtightenthedamperwithlockingscrewswithablackknob(pos1).

Connectallthecables:connect4–pinconnector(pos1),3–pinconnector(pos2),groundGNDconnector
(pos3)andmodularjackcablingtothefronthatch(pos4).

Removeaholecover(pos1)fromthedamperlid(pos2)topassthroughthecablingoftheCDcontrol
panel.Mountthelidofthebypassdamperbytightening4screws(pos3).Closethehatchandconnect
theunittothemainssupply.

IftheSAVEVTC300unitwasproducedbeforethe10thofAugust2014,anewreleasedbypassdamper
cannotbechangeddirectlyanymoreasshownintheinstallationsection3Changingthebypassdamper.
Thenewbypassdamperdonotusethetransformerwhichislocatedintheconnectionbox,thereforeit
mustbedisconnectedandcablesconnectedviaadapterbeforemountingthenewbypassdamperinto
place.Carefullyperformadditionalstepsbellowtocompletetheinstallation:
Theunitproductiondatecanbefoundonthetypelabel(see:step2,page7,pos3),whichcanbefound
ontopoftheunitclosetotheductconnectionsorinsideinthebottomoftheunit.

Disconnecttheunitfromthemainssupply(step1,page2),openthehatch(step2,page2).

Removethefrontlid(pos2)bylooseningfourscrews(pos1).

Removethecoverplateoftheconnectionbox(pos2)byloosening2screws(pos1).Pullthecover
asshowninillustrationtoremoveit.
