Welcome to TabletTV Plus!
TabletTV Plus let you watch and record your favourite television programmes wherever you are,
indoors or outdoors, with or without an Internet connection. Watch unlimited programmes without
subscriptions or recurring fees, and record programmes to watch at your convenience.
With TabletTV Plus, you can:
!Use split screen viewing to watch your selected programme while browsing or selecting
other channels
!Record and play back programmes on your tablet to fit your own schedule
!When connected to the Internet, watch free and paid Internet television channels
!Simultaneously surf the Internet, check emails and browse Facebook and Twitter –
all while watching television
!Use Apple TV via Airplay to cast the viewing content to your television screen.
This User Guide tells you everything that you need to know to set up and use Tablet TV Plus.

Getting Started
When you purchase TabletTV Plus, you receive a kit that includes:!!
!
!A Tuner, a palm-size unit with an extendable aerial and integrated Wi-Fi radio [1]
!A rechargeable battery [2] and micro USB charging cable [3], to charge your Tuner
!

To use TabletTV Plus, you need to complete the following steps:
1. Prepare the Tuner
2. Install the TabletTV Plus application on your tablet
3. Set up your Tuner
4. Connect the Tuner to your tablet
5. Scan for channels in your area.
Just follow the instructions in this User Guide to start watching live TV.

Getting to know your Tuner

Power and battery indicator
The Power and battery indicator shows the recharging progress or the remaining battery capacity:

Status indicator
The Status indicator shows the operational status of the Tuner:
LED indication

The Tuner is turned off
Green (blinking fast)
The Tuner is currently booting. When the booting is completed,
the LED is steady; this takes about 20 seconds
Green (steady)
The system is operating normally
Red (steady)
There is bad reception of the Live TV signal, or no available Live TV
signal. The Tuner is not working properly.
Wi-Fi indicator
The Wi-Fi indicator shows the Wi-Fi connection and data transfer status:

Ready to transfer broadcasting data
Green (blinking)

Reset hole
If the Tuner does not work properly, you can restore its factory settings. To do this, power on the
Tuner, then insert a paper clip in the reset hole, push it gently and hold for two seconds. This
operation also resets the Home Network mode.

Charging the Tuner
The Tuner is powered by a removable lithium ion battery. When you receive your Tuner, it may be
partially charged. Before you download the TabletTV Plus application, make sure that the battery is
fully charged.
Installing the battery
To install the Tuner battery:
1. Open the battery compartment by pressing and sliding the Tuner cover.
2. Place the battery within the compartment, ensuring that its charge terminal and the Tuner’s
charge terminal make contact. Push the battery down until it clicks.
3. Insert the cover into the groove, then press and slide it back into place.
Recharging the battery
To recharge the Tuner battery:
1. Insert the battery into the Tuner
2. Use the mini USB cable provided to connect the Tuner to the USB port in your PC, or into a
wall unit using a USB adaptor (not included).
The Power and Battery indicator light turns red while charging is in progress. When the battery is
fully charged, the indicator turns green. Recharging the battery to its full capacity takes
approximately 180 minutes; actual recharging time may vary depending on the charge status and
usage environment.

Installing the TabletTV Plus app
With the Tuner charged, you are now ready to install the TabletTV Plus app. Before you do this,
make sure that your tablet is also charged and that it shows the correct date / time for your
location.
1. Go to the Apple App Store on your tablet
2. Enter TabletTV Plus in the Search field
3. Select TabletTV Plus from the list and install the app.
When you have successfully installed the application, the TabletTV Plus icon will appear on
your tablet’s desktop.
4. Select the TabletTV Plus icon to open the application. The following window appears, and
TabletTV Plus begins to automatically update the TV Guide.
5. Wait for the update to complete (recommended), or press Skip to continue without updating
the schedule.

Logging into TabletTV Plus
Use the TabletTV Plus Log In window to log into an existing TabletTV Plus account, or to sign up for
a new TabletTV Plus account. Note that when you first sign up for TabletTV Plus, you will be asked
to accept the TabletTV Privacy Policy.
New User
Follow these steps to create a new TabletTV Plus account:
1. Press Sign Up.
2. Enter your email address (make sure not to type any extra spaces at the beginning or end)
and password. TabletTV Plus displays a message window informing you that a confirmation
email has been sent to your address.
3. Locate the email in your Inbox, then click on the link in the mail to confirm your address.
4. Return to TabletTV Plus. If your email has been entered correctly, you will see a message
window confirming your address information.
5. Press OK to continue. Tablet TV displays the updated TV Guide.

Existing User
Follow these steps to log into an existing TabletTV Plus account:
1. Enter your email address and password, then press Login. When you do this, TabletTV
displays the updated TV Guide:
2. Note that the TV Guide window indicates that the Tuner is not connected.
Press Live TV in the TabletTV Plus menu bar, or select a current programme and press
Watch. Tablet TV displays the following window:
3. If you don’t have a Tuner yet, press Order Now to purchase a Tuner.
Otherwise, press Get Started to go to the Setting Up window.
