Hereby, we declare under sole responsibility that the ST-21

230V 50Hz thermoregulator manufactured by TE H,

headquartered in Wieprz 1047A, 34-122 Wieprz, is compliant

with the Regulation by the Ministry of Economy. (Journal of Laws

Dz.U. 155 Item 1089) of July 21, 2007 implementing provisions

of the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) 2006/95/ C of January

16, 2007.

The ST-21 controller has been tested for electromagnetic

compatibility (EM ) with optimal loads applied.

For compliance assessment, harmonized standards were

used:

PN- N 60730-2-9:2006.

mains before working on the power supply (cable

connections, device installation, etc.)!

All connection works must only be carried out by

qualified electricians.

Before activating the controller, measure the motor

resetting efficiency and inspect wire insulation.

Description of the controller

Operation of the controller

ST-21D4 controller is of multi-purpose type equipped with two

temperature sensors.

The task of the controller is to start the pump if the temperature

difference of sensor exceeds a set value (T2-T1 ≥ Δ), where T2 ≥ then

minimum threshold of the pump. ill disable the pump when the T2 ≤

T1 or T2 < minimum threshold f the pump - 2 ° C (constant hysteresis).

Doing so, prevents unnecessary pump operation and unwanted cooling

down the tank when the temperature drops, which cause electricity

saving and prolongs the life of the pump. This increases reliability and

decreases the costs associated with the operation.

ST-21D5 controller is equipped with a system preventing the pump

from inactivity during extended standstill periods. The pump is turned on

for 1 minute approx. every 10 days.

Additional function is the protection of the system from freezing. After

the temperature measured by the boiler sensor drops below 6° the

pump is started to operate continuously. The pump is turned off when the

circuit temperature is increased to 7° .

Operation of the controller

Preview of sensor temperatures is changed by pressing PLUS (temp. of

water in water heater: T1) and MINUS buttons (temp. of supply water

in the boiler: T2). By pressing MENU button the controller will display

the user's menu. Press PLUS or MINUS buttons to navigate in the

menu. Selection of the highlighted function or acceptance of a change in

settings is confirmed by pressing MENU button. Use EXIT button to

cancel the change or exit the menu. By pressing and holding the EXIT

button for 5s in the main screen the standby mode is activated and the

pump power supply is shut off. .

The following controller functions are available in the main M NU:

1. Manual operation

This function allows to start the pump manually (e.g. to check if it

functional). After selection of A1 function the pump can be turned on (by

pressing PLUS button) or off (by pressing MINUS button).

2. Pump turn on delta

The option is used to set the difference in temperatures (Δ) between the

boiler and the tank (∆ = T1-T2) which, when reached, will cause the

pump to start, provided that the temperature exceeds the preset

activation threshold temperature.

3. Turn on threshold temperature

This function is used to set a temperature which, when reached, will

cause the pump to start (so-called turn-on threshold temperature),

provided that the pump turn-on delta has been reached.

c2 – Heat source sensor error

c1 – Tank sensor error

AL2 – The message and the current T2 temperature are displayed

alternately when the anti-freezing function is turned on (T2 sensor

signal).

AL1 – The message and the current boiler temperature are displayed

alternately when the anti-freezing function is turned on (boiler sensor

signal).

-A- – Message indicating that the anti-stop function is on.

NOT : The occurrence of any alarm will activate the pump

irrespective of the current temperature.

Installation method

Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician! The sensor

should be fastened using a cable tie and protected isolated from external

influences using insulating tape. Power cord should be connected as

follows:

blue and brown cables: 230V,

yellow-green protective conductor: ground.

Distance between fixing holes is 86.5 mm.
