IMPORTANT USE INFORMATION
• If vaporizer does not produce steam after 10 minutes, add 1-2 dashes
(1/8 tsp) of salt. Wait an additional 10 minutes. If vaporizer is still not
producing steam add 1-2 additional dashes of salt, up to 1/2 tsp.
• Take care when adding salt; do not add salt every time used as salt
can build up over time and vaporizer may not need salt additive for
subsequent uses.
• Follow included cleaning and storage instructions to ensure long life of
this unit.

The following basic precautions are needed when using an electrical product. Failure to read
and observe all precautions could result in personal injury or equipment damage.
Improper care or use of your vaporizer may result in injury, damage to the unit or
steam output. Following these instructions will ensure the vaporizer’s ecacy and
long life. Mineral content of water varies; carefully follow the included instructions for
adding salt to water as needed to ensure proper function of this vaporizer.
WARNING: KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN
THIS DEVICE IS INTENDED FOR HOME USE WHERE CHILDREN MAY BE PRESENT. Carefully
supervise children during use. Hot steam can cause severe burns and injuries. Follow all safety
instructions for use, storage and care at all times.
GENERAL CAUTIONS AND WARNINGS
• Vaporizer should only be used on a at, rm waterproof surface at least four feet from
bedside, minimum six inches from walls. Never use on surfaces such as wood that could
be damaged by water.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Inspect vaporizer before rst use and before each subsequent use; do not use the unit if
it has any damaged parts (including power cord or plug) or has been dropped.
• Read all instructions carefully before using the appliance.
• To protect against electrical hazards, DO NOT immerse cord, plugs, or the entire motor
unit in water or other liquid.
• DO NOT let cord hang over the edge of a table or counter, and do not let it touch hot
surfaces.

• DO NOT touch the steam vapor; steam can cause serious burns.
• DO NOT remove the vaporizer head during use or within 20 minutes after use.
• DO NOT add liquid inhalants while the vaporizer is plugged in or operating.
• DO NOT operate without water. Unplug vaporizer when empty.
• DO NOT cover vents. DO NOT insert objects into any vents or openings on vaporizer.
DO NOT pour liquid into vents.
• Regularly check the main cord if it is still in good and safe condition.
• ALWAYS Unplug from outlet before moving, when not in use and before cleaning.
• Ensure that the appliance is unplugged from the outlet when relling water.
• DO NOT place the appliance on or near a hot gas or electric burner.
• DO NOT use outdoors or for purposes other than intended use.
• DO NOT leave unit unattended while in use.
• Plug directly into a 120V AC electrical outlet. DO NOT use extension cord or power strip.
The device is not intended to be operated with an external timer or separate remote
control system.
CLEANING CAUTIONS AND WARNINGS
• Never immerse the vaporizer head in water to clean as it may damage the unit.
• Disconnect the unit from the electrical outlet before cleaning.
• DO NOT disassemble the unit or attempt to repair it.
• Clean all necessary parts after each use as instructed in this instruction manual; if the
unit has not been used for an extended period, all parts should be cleaned prior to use.

NOTE: Mineral content in water can vary, aecting
the steam output and performance of your unit. Read
instructions thoroughly and note STEP 7 for how to safely
add salt to your water.
1. Unravel and extend power cord fully before use. This
vaporizer unit gets warm, failing to extend power
cord can result in overheating, a possible re hazard.
2. Remove steam unit and ll water bowl with fresh tap
water; ll only to water level indicated on the bowl.
3. Insert the steam unit into the bowl, hold for
10-seconds to allow water to enter the housing and
seat securely into bowl.
4. Twist the steam unit so that the locking symbols
are aligned ensuring the steam unit is secure in the
bowl.
5. Place vaporizer in a heat-resistant safe location:
rm, at surface; four feet from bed side; out of
reach of children or incapactiated persons. Ensure
unit is within reach of an outlet without the use of
extension cords or power strips.
6. Plug in the unit, shift the unit as desired to aim the
mist in the desired direction. The nightlight will
illuminate indicating the unit is ON.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
NOTE:
Exposed exposure to warm steam can damage some materials and surfaces. Adjust
position as needed so excessive water will not impact the surrounding area.

7. NOTE IF VAPORIZER DOES NOT PRODUCE
STEAM AFTER 10 MINUTES, add 1-2 dashes
(1/8 tsp) of salt. Wait an additional 10 minutes.
If vaporizer is still not producing steam add 1-2
additional dashes of salt, up to 1/2 tsp.
8. Take care when adding salt; do not add salt every
time used as salt can build up over time and
vaporizer may not need salt additive for subsequent
uses.
9. IF USING VAPORIZER INHALENTS, ll the
medicine cup on the top of the unit with one
tablespoon of medicated liquid uid. Do Not ll
above level indicator line. Review the instructions for
use information on the bottle of vaporizer liquid.
10. When the tank is empty, unplug and allow the
vaporizer to cool completely before cleaning and
storage or reuse. FOLLOW THE CLEANING AND
STORAGE DIRECTIONS. Do not allow unused
water to sit in the vaporizer; fully empty after use.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
DISCOLORATION / BLACK PARTICLE RESIDUE:
Mineral content of water varies greatly by region. After use, the remaining water
residue may contain black particles or be discolored. This is normal. The tank will still
be easily cleaned using the included Cleaning Instructions .
VENTILATION DURING USE:
Excessive humidity can cause condensation stains. Pay close attention to direction of
steam, particularly in smaller rooms.
The steam vaporizer should be emptied after use and cleaned following directions.
• Unplug before cleaning and storage.
• Only use fresh tap water; never allow unused water to sit in the water tank or base for an
extended period.
• If the steam produces an unpleasant smell, stop use and wash immediately before
attempting use again.
Daily Cleaning Procedure / After Use:
1. Ensure the power cord is unplugged.
2. Empty any unused water. Rinse base with clean
water, drain and wipe dry.
Weekly Cleaning Procedure:
1. Ensure the power cord is unplugged.
2. Empty any unused water. Rinse with tap water, drain,
wipe dry or allow to air dry.
3. VINEGAR SOAK— Soak the steam unit in 4 inches of
white vinegar for 10 minutes taking care not to overll or
allow the plug to sit in the liquid.
4. TAP WATER RINSE — Remove from the vinegar
immersion; cover the hole in the bottom of the unit while
carefully adding water to the top via the steam vents;
cover with other hand and carefully shake, swishing the
water throughout the chamber. Do NOT SHAKE UP AND
DOWN.

5. If needed, carefully rinse the top of the vents under tap water; you may also use a
toothpick or gentle scrubber to rub away mineral build up around the steam vents.
Allow to fully air dry.
6. If the medicine cup was used for steam inhalants, wipe out any remaining residue.
7. DISINFECTING THE RESERVOIR— Fill base with clean tap water and 1 teaspoon
of bleach per gallon of water. Gently agitate to ensure bleach solution is applied to
all interior surfaces. Wait 20 minutes, rinse thoroughly until bleach scent cannot be
detected, allow to dry.
NOTE: Vaporizer parts are NOT dishwasher safe.
If the vaporizer will not be used for an extended period, follow the complete cleaning and
disinfection directions and store in a clean, dry location. Never store with water remaining in
the steam unit or base.

TROUBLESHOOTING
WATER IS LEAKING
• Check that the water tank is not overlled and is at the proper ll level. Inspect for cracks
or damage to the bowl.
• Make sure the unit is on a at surface and not tilted.
HUMIDIFIER DOES NOT POWER ON; INDICATOR LIGHT DOES NOT ILLUMINATE
• Conrm the unit is plugged in and the power / night light is illuminated.
• See‘Blown Fuse’below.
INDICATOR LIGHT IS ON, BUT MIST OUTPUT IS LOW OR NOT HAPPENING
• Water may not have enough salt. Allow to fully cool and follow detailed instructions for
adding salt to the water.
