Ifnecessary,drillholesindoorasshowninthe
accompanyingtemplate.Theninsertthelatchintothe
holeandattachitwithtwoscrews.

B.Inserttheslightlylarger

intothecenterhub.
Makesurethatthedot
onthecenterhubispointingtotheleft.(Figure2)
C.Slidetheoutsidehalfofthelockintothedoor,running
thedriveshaftthroughthelatchandfeedingthepower
cableaboveorbelowthelatchinthedoorhole.(Figure3)

A.Placetheinsidegasketonthedoorandalignit
withthedoorhole.Makesurethethreenubs
onsurfaceofthegasketaren’tfacingthedoor.
B.Feedthepowerplugthroughthesmall
rectangularholeinthemountingplate,then
positiontheplateagainstthegasketanddoor.
Theflangesonthemountingplatewillfit
aroundtheinsideofthedoorhole,andthe
nubsonthegasketwilllineupwithholesin
theplate.Attachtheplatetotheoutsidehalf
ofthelockwiththreescrewsandlockwashers.

A.Plugthepowercableintotheinsidehalfofthelock,
thenplacetheinsidehalfonthemountingplate,
makingsurethatthesquaredriveshaftfitsintothe
centerhubofthelockhalfandthatthelockhalfis
securelyseatedinsidetheraisededgeofthegasket.
B.Securetheinsidelockhousingwithtwoscrewsatthe
topandbottomofthecenterhub.
C.Insertthe4AAbatteries.Fornow,leavethebattery
compartmentopen:You’llneedaccesstothelock’s
resetbutton(locatedbelowthebatteries)whenyou
programthelock.Figure5

Decidewhethertheinsidehandle—the
handlewithoutakeyhole—should
pointtotherightorleft,andinsertit
ontothecenterhub,pressinginthe
appropriatepinonthesideofthe
centerhubsoitfitsintotheholeon
thesideofthehandle.

A.Makesuretheoverrideshaftinsidethecenter
hubisinaverticalposition.(Figure7)Usea
flat‐bladedscrewdrivertoturntheshaftif
necessary.
B.Removethekeyfromthecylinder,thenplace
thecylinderintotheoutsidehandle,exposing
thecylinder’skeyholeintheholeinthehandle.
Insertthekeyintothecylinderandturnthe
cylinder/keyassemblysothattheflangeonthe
cylinderispointingtotherightandwillfitinto
theslotontherightsideofthecenterhub.

C.Ifnecessary,turnthekeyclockwiseaquarter‐turnsothatthe
blacktabextendingfromthebackofthecylinder(Figure8)is
vertical,sothatitmatchestheoverrideshaftinStepA.
D.Decidewhetherthehandleshouldpointtotherightorleft
(generally,theinsideandoutsidehandlespointinthesame
direction).Whileguidingthecylinderintothecylinderhousing,
pressthehandleontothecenterhub,depressingthe
appropriatepinonthesideofthehubsoitfitsintotheholeon
thesideofthehandle.
E.Turnthekeycounter‐clockwiseaquarter‐turnandpullthekey
out.

screws.
