A programmable thermostat is a thermostat with the ability to adjust home heating equipment
according to a pre-set schedule. For instance, a programmable thermostat could be set to maintain
a home temperature of 16°C throughout the day, and 22°C degrees from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
every night.
A room thermostat works by sensing the air temperature, switching on the heating when the air
temperature falls below the thermostat setting, and switching it off once this set temperature has
been reached.
The Tio Stat allows you to choose what times you want the heating to be on, and what
temperature it should reach while it is on.
Your thermostat need a free flow of air to sense the temperature, so they must not be covered by
curtains or blocked by furniture. Nearby electric fires, televisions, wall or table lamps may also
prevent the thermostat from working properly.

Setting a programmable room thermostat to a higher temperature will not make the room heat up any faster. How quickly the room heats up
depends on the design and size of the heating system.Similarly reducing the temperature setting does not affect how quickly the room cools down.
INSTALLATION
Step 1:
Remove the screen from the bottom face of the thermostat by sliding the
screen up out of the grooves. then carefully separate the front half from the
back plate by unclipping the wire plug.
Step 2:
Place the thermostat screen somewhere safe.
Step 3:
Screw the thermostat back plate securely into the back box.
Step 4:
Clip the front of the thermostat onto the back plate.

Mount the thermostat at eye level.
Read the instructions fully so you get the best from our product.
Don’t
Do not install near to a direct heat source as this will affect functionality.
Do not push hard on the LCD screen as this may cause irreparable damage.

Press once to set minute
Press Twice to set Hour
Press Three times to set Day of the week
Press to save and return to Home Screen

When you are adjusting any setting, pressing will save what you have done and
return you to the home screen 7
Manual Mode:
Press to select manual mode. When you are on program mode will show
in bottom left corner.

Remember: Setting a programmable room thermostat to a higher
temperature will not make the room heat up any faster
The way to set and use your programmable room thermostat is to find the lowest temperature settings that
you are comfortable with at the different times you have chosen, and then leave it alone to do its job. The best
way to do this is to set the room thermostat to a low temperature , and then turn it up by 1°C each day until
you are comfortable. You won’t have to adjust the thermostat further. Any adjustment above this setting will
waste energy and cost you more money. 8
Programmable Mode:
Press to select programmable mode. will show in bottom left corner.
Press for 7 seconds to activate program set mode.
Press to set the desired (5+1+1) six periods time and temp, using to select
time and temp
When you have set your time and temp period press to save and return to home
screen.

Temporary Mode:
During program mode. If you need to change the temp. icons will appear.
The pre- program setting will return in the next period.

Progam Mode:
When power is on, press for 7 seconds to enter programmable mode. Press
to change the different items. Press to set the relative values.
