• Readallinstructionsbeforeoperatingcontroller.

• Donotputyourcontrollerinanareawhereitcangetwetorsprayed.

• Mountyourcontrollersecurelytothewallusinghardwareprovided.

• Whenusing“bugbombs”inarea,covercontrollercompletelytoavoidcorrosion.

TheSaturn™2isintendedforuseinmaintainingthetemperature,humidityandtoprovideCO2

inyourgrowingenvironment.Boththetemperatureandhumiditycanbeadjustedbysetting

thedialsonthefrontofthecontrollertoyourpreferredsettings.Duringthedaytimehoursthe

Ifafterreviewingthetroubleshootingtipstheunitwillstillnotwork,youshouldreturnittothe

Dealerwhereyoupurchasedit.Theymaybeabletofurtherevaluatetheunitandtestitsvarious

componentsandquitepossiblywillbeabletoidentifyand/orxanyproblems.IftheDealeris

unabletoxtheunit,theywillreturnittousforfactoryrepair.

IftherearenoDealersinyourarea,youmaycontactusdirectlyfortechnicalsupport.Ifwe

cannothelpyouresolvetheproblemoverthephone,wewillissueyouaReturnMerchandise

Authorization(RMA)numberauthorizingyoutoreturntheunittousforfactoryreconditioning

(ifthecontrolleriscurrentlyunderwarranty).ContactthenumberbelowforaRMAnumberand

shippingaddress.Pleasecompletetheformbelowandincludeitwithyourunit,andwritethe

RMAnumberclearlyontheoutsideofthebox.

controllerleavesthe‘CO2OUTLET’activeuntilthetemperaturesetpointisexceeded.When

thisoccurs,the‘CO2OUTLET’isdeactivatedandthenthe‘FANOUTLET’isactivated;and

yourexhaustfanwillrununtilthetemperatureislowerthanyourpreferredsetting.After

thetemperaturehasloweredbelowtheselectedtemperaturelevelthe‘FANOUTLET’is

defeatedandthe‘CO2OUTLET’isactivatedandcanbegindosingyourgardenwithCO2

again,ifrequired.Thisinnovativefunctionservestwopurposes:One,thisallowsmaximum

CO2coveragewithminimumCO2waste;Two,yourexhaustfanisworkingonlywhenitis

required-savingpowerandwear&tearonyourgear.Atanytimeifthehumiditysetpointis

exceeded,thecontrollerwillactivatethe‘HUMIDITYOUTLET’andreducethehumiditylevel

tobelowyourpreferredhumiditysetting.Duringthenighttimehoursthecontrollerdefeats

the‘CO2OUTLET’(NoneedforCO2atnight)andactivatesthe‘NIGHTOUTLET’.The

‘NIGHTOUTLET’maybeusedtooperateacirculationfan,CO2exhaustfanusingashort

cycletimer,gardenmaintenancenightlightoranyotherdevicethatyouwouldlikeonlyto

runduringthenighttimehours.Ifduringthenighttimehoursthetemperatureexceedsyour

preferredsetting,thenthe‘FANOUTLET’isactivatedtolowerthetemperaturetodesired

levels.Ifthehumiditysetpointisexceededduringthenighttimehours,thenthe‘HUMIDITY

OUTLET”isactivatedandwilllowerthegardenshumiditytodesiredlevels.Thisprovides

thegrowerwith24hourtemperatureandhumiditycontrol.TheSaturn™2isbuiltwiththe

highestqualitycomponentstoprovidetheuserwithyearsoftroublefreeservice.Controllers

createdforourindustry,byourindustry!

Instructions for Operation

• SecurelymountyourSaturn™2inyourgrowareaandawayfromanymoisture,spray,

pesticides,etc.usingthemountingbracketsandhardwareprovided.

• Plugtheexhaustfanintothe‘FANOUTLET’.

• Turnthefan‘ON’tothehighestsettingpossible,ifadjustable.

• PlugtheCO2Controller(Atlas®SeriesCO2Controller)orarepeatcycletimer(Apollo™

seriestimers)intothe“CO2OUTLET’.Then,plugyourCO2GeneratororCO2Regulator/

TankintotheCO2controllerorrepeatcycletimer(SeeInstallationExamplesectionfor

moreinformation)

• TheintegratedphotocellensuresthattheCO2generatororCO2tankonlyactivatewhen

yourgardenisinthedaytimehours(lightsare‘ON’).ThisiswhenyourplantsuptakeCO2

andcangainthemostbenetsfromenrichingtheenvironmentwithCO2.Topreserve

yourCO2,the‘CO2OUTLET’isautomaticallydisabledwhenyour‘FANOUTLET’isactive

orinyourgarden’snighttimehours.

• Whenthe‘CO2OUTLET’isdisabledduringdaytimehoursbecauseofexcessive

temperature,theventilationprocessbeginsandcontinuesuntilthetemperaturelevelhas

loweredtobelowyourpreferredsettingonthetemperaturedial.Afterthetemperature

dropstobelowthepreferredtemperaturesetting,thenthe‘CO2OUTLET’isreactivated

andresumesnormalfunctioning.

• Plugyourcirculationfan,shortcycletimerforCO2exhaustfan,orgardenmaintenance

nightlightintothe“NIGHTOUTLET’.

• Plugthedehumidierintothe‘HUMIDITYOUTLET’

• Turnthedehumidier‘ON’tothelowestsetting.Thisallowsthecontrollertomaintain

precisecontrolofthehumidityinyourgarden.

• Setthe‘Temperature’and‘Humidity’dialsatthepreferredtemperatureandhumidity

levelsforyourgarden.

Warranty Information

•TitanControls®warrantstheoriginalpurchaseofthisproductagainstdefectsinmaterial

andworkmanshipundernormaluseforthree(3)yearsfromthedateofpurchase.

•Duringthewarrantyperiod,TitanControls®will,atouroption,andwithoutcharge,repairor

replacethisproductifthecontrolleroranyofitscomponentsfailormalfunction.

•AllreturnsorrepairsmustbeaccompaniedbyaReturnMerchandiseAuthorization(RMA)

numberpriortoanyserviceoftheproduct.

•Thiswarrantyisinlieuofallotherwarranties,expressedorimplied,includingthewarranties

ofmerchantabilityandtnessforuse,andofallotherobligationsorliabilitiesonthepartof

theseller.

•Thiswarrantyshallnotapplytothisproductoranypartthereofwhichhadbeendamaged

byaccident,abuse,misuse,modication,negligence,alterationormisapplication.

•Controllerswithserialnumbersordatetagsthathavebeenremoved,alteredorobliterated;

brokensealsthatshowevidenceoftampering;mismatchedboardserialnumbersor

nonconformingparts,areexcludedfromcoverage.

•TitanControls®makesnowarrantywhatsoeverinrespecttoaccessoriesorpartsnot

suppliedbyTitanControls®.

•Monetaryrefundsofthewarrantywillnotbegiven.

•TheBuyerassumesallresponsibilityregardingtheproperuse&installationofthis

controller.

•AllwarrantyserviceisprovidedthroughtheTitanControls®factory.

•ThiswarrantyshallapplyonlytotheUnitedStates,includingAlaska,Hawaiiandterritories

oftheUnitedStates.

•Defectivecontrollersarerequiredtobereturnedwiththe“proofofpurchase/receipt”for

warrantycoverage.

•Foradditionalwarrantyinformation,contacttheTitanControls®TechnicalService

RepresentativeoryourlocalDealer.

•NOTE:TitanControls®isaManufacturerofenvironmental,timing,lighting,ventilationand

CO2controls.Allsalesofferingstothepublicaredonethroughanationwidegroupof

Dealers.Nosalesofferingswillbemadedirectlytothegeneralpublic.

Service and Repair Program

• Forallserviceandrepairs,pleasecontactbyourTechnicalServiceRepresentativefor

troubleshootingyourgearandattainingaReturnMerchandiseAuthorization(RMA)number,

ifapplicable.

• Allfactoryservice&repairswillbecompletedwithin48hoursofreceiptofcontrolleratthe

factory.

• TitanControls®will,atitsdiscretion,repairorreplacethecontroller.

• FactorycalibrationservicesareavailableforallTitanControls®.

• ReturningUnits:Pleasecontactyourretailstoreforinformationregardingreturns.

• Finally,plugtheSaturn™ 2intoadedicated120Volt–15Amppowersource.

• UseofasurgeprotectiondeviceisrecommendedtoprotectyourSaturn™2frompotential

powerdamageinareaswherethismaybeanissue.

• YourSaturn™2willnowcontrolyourequipmentatthedesiredsettings.

Troubleshooting Tips

IftheSaturn™2isnotperformingasexpected,trythefollowing:

a.Conrmthatyourpowerinputsourceisactivebyusingavoltagetestmeter,andverifythat

thepowerinputsourceisproviding120VoltsofpowertotheSaturn™2.

b.ValidatethatthepoweroutletsoftheSaturn™2areactivebysettingthetemperature

andhumiditydialstothelowestsettings.Thenuseavoltagetestmetertoverifypoweris

owingthroughthecontrollertothepoweroutlets.

c.Ensurethattheexhaustfananddehumidierare‘ON’andsettothelowesttemperature

andhumiditylevels.

d.VerifythattheSaturn™2issetatthepropertemperatureandhumiditylevelstoactivate

anddeactivateequipment.

e.Ifyourventilationordehumidicationequipmentdoesnotturnoff,verifythatyourexhaust

fananddehumidierarethecorrectsizeforyourgrowarea.Increasesizeofexhaustfanor

dehumidier(ifnecessary)tocoolanddehumidifythegardenasquicklyaspossible.
