04 USING THE ROLLATOR 05 ACCESSORIES
FOLDING UP YOUR ROLLATOR
To save space for storage, the XXL Rollator can
be folded up.
1. Remove the basket from the frame.
2. Position the rollator in front of yourself
facing the direction of travel and engage
the parking brakes.
3. Hold onto the rollator by the handle with
one hand.
4. With your other hand, release the seat
from its position by giving it a sudden
upward push.
5. Now pull the rollator as far as it will go
towards you until it folds up.
For storing the rollator, you can remove the
backrest and the push handles.
WARNING
When unfolding/folding the rollator, take care
not to trap your hands, ngers, and clothing in
the mechanism! Risk of crushing!
ATTACHING AND USING ACCESSORIES
The standard version of the XXL Rollator is t-
ted with a shopping basket and backrest.
Optional additional accessories can be pur-
chased (see chapter “Optional accessories“).
Only original accessories from DIETZ are to be
used. Only then the conformity and the safety
of the product is guaranteed.
BASKET (INCLUDED IN STANDARD
VERSION)
The basket is approved for transporting objects
up to a maximum weight of 3 kg. Please refer
to the image "Layout of the XXL Rollator".
1. To hook the basket into place, stand in
front of the rollator.
2. Using the hooks, hook the basket from
the front into the horizontal connecting
rod of the frame below the seat surface.
3. If you wish to unhook the basket, lift the
basket such that the hooks are clear of
the rod of the frame.
4. You can use the carrying handle of the
basket to carry it.
ONE HAND BRAKE SYSTEM (OPTIONAL)
If one of your hands does not have enough
strength to safely apply the brake, the XXL Rol-
lator can be equipped with a single hand brake.
This will need to be attached to the rollator by
an authorised specialist retailer.
