Technologies used

Doorito contains a global SIM card, an optical sensor, and

a 900 mAh Li-Ion battery 3.7 V.

Battery duration and charging

The device can be charged using the enclosed microUSB ca-

ble, which can be connected to a PC or the power adaptor. The

charging time varies depending on the power supply used.

The charging process is indicated by turning the red LED indica-

tor on. When the battery is fully charged, the LED indicator turns

green. The LED indicator shortly turns off when Doorito detects a

movement. This doesn’t affect the charging process.

Battery operation time during normal usage: 6 months

Charging voltage: 5 V

Charging time: 5 hrs (250 mA charging current)

Supported platforms

The device can be controlled using the application for smart-

phones or through the web interface at https://doorito.com/admin.

List of supported systems:

● Android version 4.0 or higher

● iOS version 7 or higher

● Internet browser (Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari, IE)

All devices require an internet connection.

Operation conditions

The device is designed for indoor use within the temperature

range -20 to 60°C. Recommended temperature to charge the bat-

tery is 0-40°C. Your Doorito must be in range of a GSM network.

Caution: when used in extreme temperatures, the battery capac-

ity decreases.

Connection and Charges

Doorito can be used in every EU country, Switzerland, Norway,

the U.S. and Russia.

The device contains a built-in data chip SIM card. Basic Doorito

services for a period of one year are included in the price of the

product. Services for further periods can be purchased via the

web interface (www.doorito.com). The price of services varies

depending on the country where the device was purchased (see

sales terms and conditions).

Basic services are entirely sufcient for everyday home use. If

this is not sufcient for your needs, you can expand them via

your management. Further information on service charges can be

found at www.doorito.com.

Basic usage of Doorito

The Doorito battery might be slightly discharged when you

unpack the product. For this reason, we recommend that you

charge Doorito immediately.

Downloading the application

We recommend that you control the device using the Doorito ap-

plication, which has to be installed to your smartphone. You can

install the app using several methods:

● Method 1:Launch the App Store / Google Play app in your

smartphone and search for doorito.

● Method 2: Scan the QR code on the device cover. You will

be redirected directly to the page where you can download

the application.

● Method 3: Visit the www.doorito.com/app, page where

you can select the OS of your smartphone (if you enter the

address to the browser in your smartphone,the OS will be

selected automatically). Subsequently you will be redirected

directly to the page where you can download the applica-

tion.

Pairing card

The pairing card is enclosed with the product. Using the card to

pair the device, you get all permissions to control your Doorito.

If another user previously paired with your Doorito, he/she loses

access to the device.

Keep your card in a safe place for future use and keep the code

on the card (Doorito ID) secret.

Adding the rst device to the app - pairing

Launch the Doorito application on your smartphone (or use the

www.doorito.com/register page), create your user account and

nish the registration. Then choose Add module and follow the

wizard.

Recommended placement

Before mounting the device you can remove the cover to x the

device into a door. With the door closed, aim the optical sensor

so it points to some obstacle at 8 cm distance max. When the

door is opened, the sensor has to deect off the obstacle. Place

the optical sensor as close to the obstacle as possible. If the ob-

stacle is more than 8 cm from the sensor, Doorito can malfunc-

tion. Doorito can be placed both on a door and on a doorframe

or a jamb. You can use the doorframe, jamb or the enclosed

L-square as the obstacle.

We recommend placing your Doorito so that its position enables

access to the charging connector and the service button.

Using Doorito

You can lock/unlock Doorito using the application. If Doorito is

locked and the device starts to move, an alarm is red and vi-

sually displayed in your mobile device. Moreover, you can dis-

play history of your devices, share the device with other users,

schedule automatic lock/unlock and other functions.

Switching on/off

●You can switch the device on by pressing the service button

for at least 5 sec. The ON status is indicated by the LED on the

front side blinking green.

●You can switch the device off by pressing the service button

for at least 5 sec. The OFF status is indicated by the LED on the

front side blinking red. Device must be unlocked.

Delay between turning on and off

The process of turning on or off the device continues for approx.

30 seconds after the LED indicates the change. Consequently, you

should wait at least 30 seconds between each turning the device

on and off.

Výdrž baterie a nabíjení

Zařízení můžete nabít pomocí přiloženého microUSB kabelu,

který lze připojit do PC nebo síťového adaptéru. Doba nabíjení

je odvislá od použitého druhu napájení.

Nabíjení je signalizováno svícením červené LED diody. Jakmile

je baterie nabitá, LED dioda se rozsvítí zeleně. LED dioda na

krátkou dobu zhasne v okamžiku, kdy Doorito zaznamená po-

hyb. Nabíjení tím není přerušeno.

Výdrž baterie při běžném použití: 6 měsíců
