IMPORTANT SAFETY REGULATIONS
Please read all safety regulaons carefully before using the product.
1. This appliance is intended for use in households and similar areas, any professional usage is considered to be
improper use and may result in personal injury or damage to property. Trebs is not liable for damage caused
by improper use.
2. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
3. Never submerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
4. Check if the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the local mains voltage before you connect the
appliance.
5. Do not use the appliance if the plug, main cord or the appliance itself is damaged.
6. Regularly check the cable for any damage. If the cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or
supplier. The cable may only be repaired by a qualied person to prevent dangerous situaons.
7. No parts of this appliance may be replaced by the user.
8. This product is not suitable for children younger than 8 years old.
9. This product is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
abilies, or with a lack of knowledge and experience, unless they’re under the supervision of or have received
instrucons regarding the device from a person responsible for their safety.
10. Do not place the appliance on a hot surface and do not let the mains cord come into contact with hot surfaces.
11. Always unplug the appliance when problems occur and during cleaning.
12. Don’t use any electrical extension cord for this appliance.
13. Always make sure the appliance is posioned safely on a at surface before operaon.
14. Do not touch plate or cooking area while in operaon, these areas are hot.
15. Use the product in a well-venlated area. Keep at least 10 - 15 cenmeters of clear space on all sides of the
product to allow for sucient air circulaon.
16. Allow the appliance to be thoroughly cooled before handling the appliance.
17. Do not leave the appliance while it is in operaon. This device is not intended to be triggered by an external
mer or separate remote control system.

BEFORE FIRST USE
Check if all accessories are complete and undamaged.
During the rst use, the cooking plate may produce some smoke. This is normal as the heat is removing any
coang debris, this should stop aer +-5 minutes of operaon.
Aer 5 minutes, let the device cool down and clean the plates with a damp cloth.
The appliance is now ready to make delicious waes.
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Turn the appliance on by plugging the electrical socket into the power outlet.
Turn the adjustable heat thermostat to level 4.
Verify that the power indicator light illuminates in orange.
Cauon: while in use the cooking plates and metal surfaces will become extremely hot.
2. Aer approximately ve minutes the appliance power indicator light will turn green, indicang that the
appliance has pre-heated and is ready for use.
3. Use the handle to li the upper plate and open the device. Once opened, carefully pour the desired amount of
baer on to the boom plate. Making sure the baer is evenly spread over the boom plate.
4. Use the handle to lower the top plate onto the boom plate and close the appliance. This will allow the baer
to bake evenly on both sides.
5. When the baer is baked as desired the appliance can be opened using the handle.
Remove the wae using non metal utensils.
6. If more cooking is to be done repeat step 2 to 5 unl cooking is completed, reapplying cooking oil where
necessary.
7. Turn o the appliance by unplugging the electrical socket from the power outlet.
8. Leave the appliance to cool before further cleaning, handling and storing.
CLEANING THE APPLIANCE
Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and wait for the baking plates to cool.
Wipe the outside with a slightly moistened cloth ensuring that no moisture, oil or grease enters the cooling slots.
Use a slightly moistened non scouring cloth to wipe away any baking debris from the cooking plates.
Do not clean the inside or outside with any abrasive scouring pad or steel wool as this will damage the nish.

WAFFLE RECIPE
BASIC WAFFLE RECIPE
Ingredients (Serves 15 waes)
Self-raising baking our 250gr
Sugar 250gr
Buer 250gr
Eggs 4 pcs
Instrucons
1. Melt the buer, mix in a bowl with the sugar and 4 yolks (save the egg white)
2. Add the self raising baking our and mix
3. Add the le over egg white and mix unl a smooth air lled mixture forms.
4. Fill the hot wae maker (Green indicator light) with baer, close the lid and wait unl golden brown.
RAISIN WAFFLE RECIPE
Ingredients (Serves 10 waes)
Raisins 100gr
Flour 250gr
Yeast 30gr
Milk lukewarm 3dl
Eggs 4pcs
Granulated sugar 1 Tbs
Melted buer 125gr
Instrucons
1. Soak the raisins in water or rum.
2. Put the our in a mixing bowl, make a dimple in the our.
3. Add the yeast to the lukewarm milk and add to the our dimple.
4. Mix the ingredients in the bowl.
5. Add the bit of salt, the eggs, granulated sugar, soaked raisins and the melted buer to the mixing bowl.
6. Mix unl a smooth mixture is formed.
7. Proof the mixture unl it doubles in size.
8. Fill the hot wae maker (green indicator light) with baer, close the lid and wait unl golden brown.

Old electric and electronic devices oen contain valuable materials. However, they also contain harmful
substances that were necessary for their funconality and safety. If these are placed with the non-
recyclable waste or disposed of incorrectly, they can be harmful to human health and the environment.
Never place your device with the non-recyclable waste.
REMARK
• Use the collecon points available in your community and recycle old electric and electronic devices.
Contact your town hall, the local waste disposal company or your dealer for more informaon.
• Make sure that your old device, unl it’s picked up, is safely stored out of reach of children.
WARRANTY
• We provide a warranty of 24 months for this product. The warranty starts on the date of purchase and is
intended for faults due to producon or the used materials.
• Your statutory warranty rights in accordance with § 439 . BGB-E will remain unaected by this.
• The warranty does not apply to damages as a result of improper handling or use, nor to malfuncons that only
have a minor eect on the funconality or value of the product. Normal wear and tear, transport damage, to
the extent that we are not responsible for this, as well as damages caused by repairs not performed by us, are
also excluded from the warrant.
• This device is designed for household use and has the right performance levels.
• Any use in commercial situaons is only covered by the warranty if the device is not put under a heavier strain
that in a household situaon. The device is not intended for addional commercial use.
• In the case of well-founded complaints, we will repair the defecve device at our discreon or replace it with a
device that shows no problems.
All possible manufacturing faults must be reported within 14 days of delivery. All further claims are excluded.

with proof of purchase).

1. Dit apparaat is bedoeld voor gebruik in huishoudens en soortgelijke omgevingen. Elk professioneel gebruik
wordt beschouwd als oneigenlijk gebruik en kan resulteren in persoonlijk letsel of schade aan eigendommen.
Trebs kan niet aansprakelijk worden gesteld voor schade veroorzaakt door incorrect gebruik.
2. Houd het apparaat en het netsnoer buiten het bereik van kinderen jonger dan 8 jaar.
3. Dompel het apparaat nooit onder in water of andere vloeistoen.

15. Gebruik het product in een goed gevenleerde ruimte. Houd minstens 10 - 15 cenmeter vrije ruimte aan alle
zijden van het product om te zorgen voor voldoende luchtcirculae.
16. Laat het apparaat grondig aoelen alvorens het te hanteren.
17. Laat het apparaat niet onbeheerd achter terwijl het in gebruik is. Dit apparaat is niet bedoeld om te worden
ingeschakeld door een externe mer of een aparte afstandsbediening.

VOOR HET EERSTE GEBRUIK
Controleer of alle accessoires aanwezig en onbeschadigd zijn.
Tijdens het eerste gebruik kunnen de bakplaten wat rook produceren. Dit is normaal daar de warmte alle
coangresten verwijdert. Dit hoort na ongeveer 5 minuten gebruik te stoppen.
Laat het apparaat na 5 minuten aoelen en reinig de platen met een vochge doek.
Het apparaat is nu gereed voor gebruik en om heerlijke wafels te maken.
GEBRUIKSINSTRUCTIES
1. Schakel het apparaat in door de stekker in het stopcontact te steken.
Zet de regelbare warmtethermostaat op niveau 4.
Controleer of het stroomindicaelampje oranje brandt.
Let op: jdens het gebruik zullen de bakplaten en metalen oppervlakken zeer heet worden.
2. Na ongeveer 5 minuten gaat het stroomindicatorlampje van het apparaat groen branden, wat aangee dat het
apparaat voorverwarmd is en klaar is voor gebruik.
3. Gebruik het handvat om de bovenplaat op te llen en het apparaat te openen. Eenmaal geopend giet
u voorzichg de gewenste hoeveelheid beslag op de bodemplaat. Zorg ervoor dat het beslag gelijkmag over
de bodemplaat wordt verdeeld.
4. Gebruik het handvat om de bovenplaat op de bodemplaat te laten zakken en het apparaat te sluiten.
Hierdoor wordt het beslag aan beide zijden gelijkmag gebakken.
5. Wanneer het beslag naar wens is gebakken, kan het apparaat met behulp van het handvat worden geopend.
Verwijder de wafel met behulp van niet-metalen keukengerei.
6. Als u meer wafels wilt bakken, herhaal dan stap 2 tot en met 5 totdat u klaar bent met bakken. Breng indien
nodig opnieuw olie aan.
7. Schakel het apparaat uit door de stekker uit het stopcontact te trekken.
8. Laat het apparaat aoelen alvorens het te reinigen, te hanteren of op te slaan.
HET APPARAAT REINIGEN
Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact en wacht totdat de bakplaten zijn afgekoeld voordat u het apparaat reinigt.
Veeg de buitenkant af met een licht, vochge doek en zorg ervoor dat er geen vocht, olie of vet in de koelsleuven
komt.
Gebruik een licht, vochge, niet schurende doek om eventuele bakresten van de kookplaten af te vegen.
Reinig de binnenkant of buitenkant niet met een schuurspons of staalwol omdat dit de afwerking kan
beschadigen.
