BSA BB-M8000
Install
the center tube into right side cup
before installing in the frame.
Put any necessary
spacers on BB cups
Following the TRP BB & Crankset Compatibility Chart
Lightly grease
the BB shell threads evenly and thread the BB cups
into the frame, starting with the right side

Bottom Bracket Installation - BSA

Use DUB TM BSA Bottom Bracket
Tool to tighten both cups
to 50Nm (37ft.lbs).
Measure the width of the frame.
Check the TRP BB & Crankset Compatibility Chart to ensure
that you are choosing the correct bottom bracket.
Make sure dust covers
are installed before
installing the crankset
Make sure both BB cups and
center tube are aligned.

Measure the width of the frame.
Check the TRP BB & Crankset Compatibility Chart to ensure
that you are choosing the correct bottom bracket

The BB shell and BB evenly
Tighten
Use a standard press fit tool
to install the right-side cup into the frame.
(Use Bearing Cup Press tool to install)
Make sure dust covers
are installed before
installing the crankset
: 73mm ( 1 x 2.5mm )
: 83mm ( 2 x 2.5mm )
Put any necessary
spacers on BB cups

Bottom Bracket Installation - PF30
: 83mm ( 1 x 2.5mm )

Repeat Step 4
for the left side cup

Chainring Installation Guidance
Installation order and direction
Use an ISIS Drive™ BB tool to install the chainring lockring
along with the 35 x 44 x 0.1 washer onto the drive-side crank.
Tighten the lockring to 40 Nm (30ft-lbs).

Chainring / Chain Set Up
Using the icon on your TRP chainring,
make sure to align the wide link of the chain with the inner teeth of the chainring

Measure the width of the frame
with bottom bracket
fully assembled/installed
to ensure proper installation
can be achieved.
Check the TRP BB & Crankset Compatibility Chart
to make sure your TRP crankset is compatible

Install the non-drive side
crank arm through the frame
HEX 10mm
50Nm (37ft.lbs)
Tighten the drive side crank
9Turn the non-drive side preload adjuster to
lightly preload the crankset against the bottom bracket.

Use a 2mm hex
Tighten the preload adjuster bolt
until the adjuster edges touch
Do not over-tighten the preload adjuster.
It is okay to leave a gap in the adjuster,
as long as the top edges touch.

Install the pedal washer
between the crank arm and pedal.
Check both sides of the crankset
to make sure there is no play
Turn the preload adjuster
until it contacts the crank arm.
Lightly grease the bearing
contact surfaces
on the spindle and the bottom bracket.
Ensure the dust shield is installed
on both sides of the bottom bracket.
TRP Crankset Installation Guidance
Gently tap until the crank arm is fully
seated against the bearing
Install the drive side crank arm onto the spindle.
*Confirm the crank arms are positioned 180° apart

CS-M8070-7 Cassette Installation
Install the provided DH spacer
onto the freehub.
Align the wide groove on the HG freehub body
with the wide spline on each of the cassette components.

Install the cassette onto the freehub body
starting with the 5 largest cogs.

Install the remaining two cogs onto
the freehub ensuring the
wide groove and wide spline line up.

Freehub Body Requirement
*CS-M8070-7 is only compatible with the HG freehub. Check the following chart to confirm whether a spacer is needed.
Install the lockring with a
Cassette Lockring tool.
Tighten the lockring to
40 Nm (30ft-lbs).

Lightly grease freehub

CS-M9050-12 Cassette Installation
CS-M9050-12 is only compatible with the MicrosplineTM freehub.

Installation
Install the cassette directly
onto the freehub body.
Install
the lockring with a
Cassette Lockring tool.
Tighten the lockring
to 40 Nm (30ft-lbs).
Hold the cassette in place
with cassette pliers
or a chain whip tool.
Using a cassette lockring tool,
turn the lockring counter-clockwise
until completely removed.
Remove the cassette by
pulling the cassette away
from the freehub.
1Align the wide groove
on the Microspline™ freehub body
with the wide spline on the cassette.
Lightly grease freehub
