The TUFF T450 smartphone has been designed
for use outdoors and in challenging environments.
The device is IP68 rated and is therefore waterproof
and dustproof. The T450 is running on a 1.2GHz
quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor
and operates Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) with access to
Google Play™. The TUFF T450 offers a durable
design and features great smartphone performance.
This user manual contains information and safety
regulations which are to be observed without fail
for safe operation of the mobile phone under the
described conditions.

tests before they leave the factory.
Generally it is difcult to identify the different
factors that cause water damage. It is hereby

of free swapping old-for-new, free repair and

The operating system can only be updated by
ofcial release. In case that users use an unofcial
system, users should note that this voids the

device. Radiation from the phone may erase the
information stored on them.
• Do not put your device in a high-temperature
place or use it in a place with ammable gas such
as a petrol station.
• Keep your device and its accessories away from
young children. Do not allow children to use your
phone without guidance.
• Use only approved batteries and chargers to
avoid the risk of explosions.
• Observe any laws or regulations on the use of
wireless devices. Respect others privacy and
legal rights when using your wireless device.

1. Open the back cover: First, rotate the battery
cover locking screws anticlockwise until the cover
is loosened. Remove the back cover.

to removing rear cover/
SIM and Micro SD card

2. Put the SIM card and/or Micro SD card into their
corresponding card slots (contact chip-side facing
down), ensuring that they are correctly seated and
any locking mechanisms are secured.
3. Replace the back cover by relocking the back
plate, turning the locking screws clockwise and
fastening the back cover.

4. Charge the device by removing the rubber port
plug and inserting the Micro-USB pin into the
device, then plug the charger into a wall socket.
5. Ensure battery cover, battery cover lock screws,
earphone and USB rubber plugs are perfectly
closed to prevent water and dust from entering
the device.
6. To turn device on, press and hold the power
button.

Please do not cover the antenna area with your
hands or other objects. It may weaken or block
mobile signal.
Press and hold the Power button to start-up the
phone.
Press and hold the Power button, then select
Shutdown > Yes, to turn off the phone.
Notes
In areas where wireless device usage is restricted
(such as on airplanes and in hospitals), please follow
the instructions provided by the authorities in those
environments.
You can switch the phone to Flight Mode if you
wish to only use the devices non-network features.
Press the up and down volume buttons to adjust
the ringtone volume, adjust speaker volume during
calls or when playing music and videos.
Press and hold the bottom volume button until the
phone switches to Silent Mode.
Press and hold the Power button, then touch Mute
or Vibrate on the screen.
