is part of a growing collection of technical accessories including
computer kits, power adaptors/converters and USB travel chargers
for the world traveler.
This multifunctional key fob works with any Bluetooth-enabled cell
phone. It alerts you when it becomes separated from your mobile
phone by vibrating, flashing its lights and then sounding an alarm. It
is also a fully-functional speakerphone, notifying you of incoming calls
and allowing you to manage calls. In the case of an emergency, the
Bluetooth Smart Key Fob has an integrated Panic Alarm and can dial
emergency services.

CHARGING THE DEVICE
1. Gently open the dust cover to expose the micro USB port.
2. Insert the micro USB update/charge cable into the Key Fob port
and then insert the USB plug into any standard USB port.
3. The Tumi logo will flash when charging. When charged, the light
will remain lit. For best battery life, charge the key fob for 4 hours.
4. Low Battery Alert: The device will sound three short beeps every
few minutes when the battery level is low.
PAIRING WITH YOUR PHONE
1. Ensure your phone is turned ON and the Bluetooth feature is
enabled.
2. Verify that the Bluetooth Smart Key Fob is unplugged and turned
OFF (Red light is OFF).
3. Press and hold the Tumi button until you hear the second beep (9
seconds).
4. On your phone, search for Bluetooth devices.
5. Select the Bluetooth Smart Key Fob from the list of found
Bluetooth devices on your phone.
6. If a PIN is required, use 0000.
7. Once connected, the red light will flash every few seconds.
ON / OFF
To turn ON
1. Press and hold the Tumi button until you hear the first beep
(3 seconds). Release Tumi button.
2. The Bluetooth Smart Key Fob will automatically reconnect to the
last paired mobile phone.
To turn OFF
1. Press and hold the Tumi button until you hear the first beep
(3 seconds). Release the Tumi button.
2. The Tumi light will turn off.
CUSTOMIZING SETTINGS
Access myZOMM™ to update and customize your Bluetooth Smart
Key Fob with the latest features.
1. Navigate to zomm.com/tumi.
2. Log in or create an account.
3. Click on the myZOMM™ download button to download and
install the myZOMM™ software.
4. Launch the myZOMM™ software and follow the on-screen
instructions to customize your Bluetooth Smart Key Fob. The
software will apply any available updates automatically.
USING YOUR BLUETOOTH SMART KEY FOB
Device Separation Alarm
When your mobile phone and the Bluetooth Smart Key Fob become
separated (between 30–120 feet), the Bluetooth Smart Key Fob will alert
you by vibrating, flashing its lights and then sounding an audible alarm.
•To cancel the alarm, tap the Tumi button once.
•The same alert will occur if the Bluetooth wireless connection with
your phone is lost or if your phone is turned off while connected.
•To avoid unnecessary alerts, turn off the Bluetooth Smart Key Fob
before turning off your phone.
Note: Separation distances vary based upon environment and your
customized settings.
WARNING – The alarm can cause temporary or permanent hearing loss
if placed close to the ear.
MANAGING PHONE CALLS
Receiving a Call
1. Bluetooth Smart Key Fob will vibrate, flash and ring when a call
comes in.
2. Tap the Tumi button once to answer the call with the Bluetooth
Smart Key Fob.
3. Tap the Tumi button twice to route the call to voicemail.
During a Call
1. Tap the Tumi button once to transfer the call from your mobile
phone to the Bluetooth Smart Key Fob speakerphone.
2. Tap the Tumi button once again to transfer the call from the
Bluetooth Smart Key Fob speakerphone to your mobile phone.
3. Tap the Tumi button twice in a row to end the call.
Making a Call
• When the call is ringing, tap the Tumi button once to transfer the
outgoing call to the Bluetooth Smart Key Fob.
EMERGENCY DEVICE OPERATIONS
Panic Alarm
•To trigger an audible Panic Alarm, press and hold the Tumi button
until the alarm sounds (9 seconds) and immediately release the Tumi
button.
•To cancel the Panic Alarm, tap the Tumi button.
WARNING –The audible Panic Alarm can cause temporary or permanent
hearing loss if placed close to the ear. Use only in the event of an
emergency.
Emergency Phone Call
In the event of an emergency, you can use your Bluetooth Smart Key Fob
to call emergency services for assistance.
1. Press and hold the Tumi button for 15 seconds (through the
6-second Panic Alarm).
2. Release the Tumi button after the device notifies you it is dialing
emergency services.
3. The Bluetooth Smart Key Fob will then initiate an emergency call
using your mobile phone and will serve as a speakerphone for the
call.
4. Tapping the Tumi button during the call will mute/unmute the
speaker, but the microphone will remain on for the duration of the
call. It cannot be transferred to your mobile phone.
WARNING–Only use this feature in the event of an actual emergency.
RESETTING THE BLUETOOTH SMART KEY FOB
Should the device stop functioning, resetting the Bluetooth Smart Key
Fob will turn it off. When turned back on, it will return to normal operating
mode.
To Reset:
1. Insert a small paper clip into the reset button hole located under the
metal loop on the top of the Bluetooth Smart Key Fob.
2. Gently press and release the reset button using the paper clip.
3. Turn on the Bluetooth Smart Key Fob.
SAFETY INFORMATION AND SUPPORT
•Keep the Bluetooth Smart Key Fob out of reach of children and pets.
•You are solely responsible for using your mobile phone and the
Bluetooth Smart Key Fob in compliance with any laws relating to the
use of mobile phones while driving or operating machinery.
•Do not expose the Bluetooth Smart Key Fob device to liquid,
moisture, fire, open flames or extreme temperatures.
•Failure to heed all acoustic safety precautions can result in serious
injury to the ear or permanent hearing loss.
•Support for certain features may be dependent upon your mobile
phone capabilities.
•The Bluetooth Smart Key Fob uses the paired and connected
mobile phone to initiate emergency call via the Bluetooth wireless
interface and requires mobile carrier service. Emergency assistance
dialing features may not work on all phones and on all networks.
Always check your local listings for the correct emergency number
for your current location and set your Bluetooth Smart Key Fob’s
emergency number accordingly. The default number currently used
in the US is “911” and is configured/changed with the myZOMM™
software.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
After the implementation of the European Directive 2002/96/EU
in the national legal system, the following applies: Electrical and
electronic devices may not be disposed of with domestic waste.
Consumers are obliged by law to return electrical devices at the end of
their service lives to the public collecting points set up for this purpose or
point of sale. Details on this are defined by the national law of the
respective country. This symbol on the product, the instruction manual, or
the package indicates that a product is subject to these regulations. By
recycling, reusing the materials or other forms of utilizing old devices, you
are making an important contribution to protecting our environment.
Please be sure to dispose of batteries according to local regulations; do
not dispose of as household waste.
IMPORTANT USAGE WARNINGS
•Do not attempt to open, take apart, repair, service, or modify the
hardware device; doing so could present the risk of electric shock
or hazard. Any evidence of an attempt to open and/or modify the
device will void the Limited Warranty.
•Do not use near any heat sources.
•Only use attachments and accessories specified by Tumi.
CLEANING
Clean only with a soft, dry cloth.

2. You will experience world-class, after-sales customer service;
3. For two (2) years after you purchase a Tumi accessory item from an
authorized Tumi store or dealer, you will be covered by our Limited
Warranty.
Tumi’s warranty extends to the original owner; it is straightforward and
comprehensive, and just a part of the total Tumi ownership experience.
TWO YEAR COVERAGE: YOU’RE COVERED FOR DEFECTS
For the first two years that you own your Tumi product, Tumi will repair
any items that are defective in materials or workmanship (for a nominal
processing fee), including any structural defects (such as defective
handles, zippers, or locks). We will not cover damage resulting from wear
and tear that is not the result of defects in materials or workmanship.
Other damages not covered are damage resulting from abuse, cosmetic
damage (such as scratched leather or stained fabrics) and incidental or
consequential damages, such as damage to or loss of the contents of a
bag, loss of use, loss of time, or similar expenses.

PROOF OF PURCHASE
Please save your store receipt as proof of purchase. This will be needed to
demonstrate your warranty coverage. Additionally, this will serve as proof
that your purchase was made at an authorized Tumi retailer. Our Two Year
Limited Warranty only applies to products that were purchased from an
authorized Tumi store or dealer.
This warranty gives you certain rights, and you may also have other rights,
which vary from state to state. Some states do not allow the exclusion or
limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation
or exclusion may not apply to you.
