installation will void manufacturer’s warranty. The installation instructions do not apply to all types
of vehicles, and are written as guidelines to assist in installing the system.
Consult an experienced technician if you are not comfortable installing the product. You can also
contact Type S at 866.294.9244 to speak to one of our installation specialists if you have any specic
questions regarding the HD Quick-Connect Wireless Backup Cam.
BEFORE using the HD Quick-Connect Wireless Backup Cam, please read the safety
information provided in this user manual. ALWAYS use the product as outlined in this user
manual.

Peeloff the adhesive tape backings from the Backup
Cameraand mount the license plate on the Backup Camera.
Alignthe holes on the license plate to the holes of the rear
bumperand tighten the screws.
Insertspacers when tightening the screws in order to level
thespace between the license plate and the rear bumper.

5. INSTALLATION GUIDE
DASH MONITOR INSTALLATION
1. Place Magnetic Windshield Mount on the windshield and adjust to your desired position.
2. Attach the Dash Monitor on to the Magnetic Windshield Mount.
3. Remove the Dash Monitor protective overlay.
4. To power the Dash Monitor:
Take the 12V/24V Power Adapter and plug adapter into the right side of the Dash Monitor. Plug
the other end into 12V/24V power port in your car.
5. Now, the Dash Monitor is ready to be activated by the motion trigger when you wave your hand
in front of the monitor or press the Wake-up Button on the top left of the Dash Monitor.
Warning: Many vehicles provide constant power to the 12V outlet. If your outlet provides
constant power, please remember to unplug the Dash Monitor when not in use to avoid draining
the vehicle battery.
NOTE: Fully charge and test camera before installation.
Push and hold the power button of
the HD Quick-Connect Wireless Backup
Cam for 1 second, the blue LED light
will ash 2 times.
Power on the Monitor with the 12V/24V
adapter. You can see the parking view when
you wake up the HD Quick-Connect Wireless
Backup Cam through wake-up button or
motion trigger in front of Monitor.

OPTION A UK/EU LICENSE PLATE WITH SCREWS:
1. Peel o the adhesive tape backings
from the Backup Camera and mount
the license plate on the Backup
Camera.
2. Align the holes on the license plate to the holes of the rear bumper and tighten the screws.

OPTION B UK/EU LICENSE PLATE WITH ADHESIVE MOUNTING TAPES:
1. Peel o the adhesive tape
backings from the Backup Camera
and mount the license plate on the
Backup Camera.
2. Attach 4 double sided mounting
tapes (4.5mm thickness) to the
back of the Backup Camera, and
4 double sided mounting tapes
(6mm thickness) to the back of the
license plate.
3. Peel of all the double sided
mounting tape backings and
mount to the rear bumper.

1. Open the license plate frame and remove the license plate.
2. Unscrew and remove the license plate frame from the rear bumper.
