Thank you for purchasing electronic scales UNIT.
Before operating ,please, read this manual carefully.
PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES
1. Scales are intended for household use only.
2. When installing and replacing the batteries observe the polarity.
3. If you do not use the device for a long period, remove the batteries.
4. Do not leave the appliance unattended.
5. Do not let children or incapable persons use the appliance.
6. Do not use the appliance for any other purpose than specified in this man-
ual.
7. Do not clean the appliance with abrasive or aggressive chemicals.
8. Do not place the appliance near heat sources such as radiators, ovens, etc.
protect the instrument from direct sunlight and humidity.
9. Scales are a measuring instrument. Protect the scales from impacts and
falls.
10. Do not attempt to repair the appliance, contact an authorized UNIT service
center.
11. Using the appliance for commercial purposes is not allowed.

BEFORE FIRST USE
Take the device from the box accurately and then remove all packing materials.
Battery
2x1.5V AAA batteries (excluded). Please, remove the isolation from battery con-
tact before use.
Installing and replacing battaries
1. Open the battery compartment located on the back panel of the scales.
2. Remove the used batteries from the device. If necessary, use an object with
a sharp end to help you to remove the batteries. Be careful not to damage
the contact.
3. Install new batteries by attaching them to the contact according to the po-
larity.
4. Close the battery compartment with the cover. You will hear a click.

USING OF THE DEVICE
Setting the time
1. Press and hold «T-SET» for a little.
2. When the display starts flashing, press buttons to set the hour, then
press «T-SET» again and set minutes when the display flashes.
3. When the settings are finished, press «T-SET» one more time.
Note:
If you want to switch directly to the weighing mode, press the «ON/ OFF» button
during the time setting.
If within the minute you do not make any changes, the device will continue
to display the default time.
To convert weight unit
The scales can make measurements in the metric system (kilograms, grams) and
Imperial system (pounds, ounces).
1. Press the «ON / OFF» button.
2. Press and hold the «UNIT» button to select the metric or Imperial measure-
ment system and set one of the systems.
3. Press “UNIT” to select the operating mode (weight or volume measurement).

Note: by setting the gram as a unit of weight, the unit of volume by default is milliliter.
By setting the pound as a unit of weight, the unit of volume by default is an ounce.
To start weighing
1. Place the scales on the flat and firm surface.
2. Place the bowl, if it will be used, on the surface of the scales.
3. Press the «ON/ OFF» to enter the weighing mode.
4. Wait until the display shows all the information.
5. Place the weighing object on the surface and weigh. The display will show
the weight value.

1. To set the timer, press the «T-SET» button in the time mode and release the
button. Wait until the display flashes.
2. Press the buttons to set the minutes. Confirm your action by pressing
the «T-SET» button.
3. Then use the buttons to set the seconds and press «T-SET» to start the
countdown.
4. When the time you set is over, you will hear an alarm bell.
5. Press any button to silence the alarm.
6. The maximum time interval of the timer is 99:59.
Re-set the time
1. In the time mode press and hold «T-SET» for 3 seconds until the screen
flashes.
2. Press the buttons to set the clock. Confirm your action by pressing
«T-SET» again.
3. Then use buttons to set the minutes. Confirm your action by pressing
«T-SET» one more time.
To set alarm timer

ZERO OR TARE FUNCTION
These functions are made to measure products consistent without removing
them from the scales.
1. Press «ON/ OFF» button and then place the first product on the scales. The
display shows the weight of the product.
2. Before you put the next product on the working surface, press the «ZERO/
TARE» button. The display shows «- - -».
3. You can repeat this operation several times.
Condition 1: «ZERO» function
when total sum of all loads on scale 4% of scale’s max. weight capacity (4%=80g
when capacity is 2000g; 200g when capacity is 5000g)
LCD will show --- or 0 g each time is pressed. --- means not stable, please wait for
a moment. 0 g and meanwhile an icon о on the left of LCD mean «ZERO» function
is active. Max. weight capacity remains unchanged.
Condition 2: «TARE» function
when total sum of all loads on scale > 4% of scale’s max. weight capacity. (4%=80g
when capacity is 2000g; 200g when capacity is 5000g) LCD will show --- or 0 g
each time «ZERO» is pressed. --- means not stable, please wait for a moment.
0 g and meanwhile an icon T on upper left comer of LCD mean TARE lunction is
active. Max. weight capacity is reduced by total weight of all loads.
