Step 1 - Attach the Keypad to Desktop
Most UPLIFT desktops include pre-drilled holes for attaching
a Keypad at the front edge on either side. Choose which side
of the Desktop you would like your Keypad to be on and at-
tach it using the #10x5/8” Wood Screws.
If you do not have an UPLIFT Desktop or choose to place the
Keypad in a different location, hold the Keypad where you
would like to install it and attach it to your desktop using the
two #10x5/8’’ Wood Screws through the two mounting holes.
If you own a drill, you can make this a little easi-
er by drilling pilot holes. Hold the keypad where
you would like to attach it and make a pencil mark
on the desktop in the center of each mounting
hole. Next drill a pilot hole at each pencil mark
using a 1/8” (or 3mm) diameter bit. Note: DRILL
NO DEEPER THAN 1/2”. To ensure this, we recom-
mend wrapping a piece of tape around your drill
bit 1/2” from the tip. Stop drilling just before the
tape touches the desktop. Then attach the Keypad
to the desktop using the #10x5/8” Wood Screws.

Step 2 - Install the Cable
Plug the end of the Keypad’s cable into the port marked “HS”
on your UPLIFT Desk control box.
You can use some of the Cable mounts included with your UP-
LIFT Desk frame to organize your Keypad cable and prevent it
from snagging on anything when adjusting the desk’s height.
The Cable mounts work best when stuck directly to one of the
frame’s metal components.

Anti-Collision Sensitivity
The Keypad provides access to the Anti-Collision Sensitivity fea-

rising or lowering. You can change this Sensitivity setting by fol-
lowing the steps below.

lowest position, then release the down button.
• Press and hold the down button again until the display reads

• Press and hold the up button while the display ashes “ASr”
until one of the numbers below shows on the display, then
release the up button. The rst number shown will be the
current sensitivity setting of the desk.
10.5 = 10 kg pressure (most sensitive)
10.6 = 15 kg pressure (moderate sensitivity)
10.7 = 20 kg pressure (least sensitive)
• If this is your preferred sensitivity setting, continue to the
next step to complete the process. Otherwise, press and
hold the up button again to get to the next setting option.
Once the desired sensitivity setting is displayed, continue
to the next step.
• Wait until the display returns to “ASr” then press and hold
the down button one more time until the desk lowers slight-
ly, rises and stops, and the display changes back to the nu-
meric height setting, then release the down button.
