Introduction
Thank you for purchasing our headrest TFT LCD monitor. Before connec-
ting, operating or adjusting this product, please read these instructions
completely to ensure that your monitor performs best.
1.Do not perform any repairs by yourself, if any trouble occurs, please
immediately shut down the monitor and contact our company or local dea-
ler. This monitor is composed of many precise electronic components. Any
detachment or reassembling may result in damaging the set.
2.Do not expose to humidity, dust, vapor, sunlight,etc.
3.Do not expose to extreme heat or cold.
4.Do not use thinner or any other chemical cleaner. Please use a soft cloth
to clean the monitor.
5.Prevent the set from falling.
CAUTION!
To ensure security, the driver of the vehicle should not operate
or watch the monitor while driving.

1) AV1/AV2, OSD display
Change the mode of AVI and AV2: Push (AV1/AV2) one time

2) Menu control
•Press MENU key and “DOWN/UP” for selection, the item chosen will be
displayed in red with arrow indication.
• Decrease or increase output value by VOL+, VOL-. The highlighted OSD
bar and numbers indicate the current output value of the item selected.
When the output changes, the highlighted OSD bar will indicate altered
direction with an arrow. The Minimum output is -100, the maximum out-
put is +100.

•When color system is set on AUTO and input signal is set to NTSC or
color compulsory NTSC, OSD has TINT option.
• Alterations in the menu will be automatically be memorized in EEPROM
and the status will change to PERSONAL. Picture mode will change to PER-
SONAL too.
You will exit MENU if there is no operation for more than 10 seconds.
3) Zoom
•Press this key for picture switch over between 16:9/4:3 mode
4) P.P.
•There are 4 preset Picture Modes in ROM of CUP, i.e. "STANDARD",
"SOFT", "VIVID", (LIGHT) (in correspondence to brightness, contrast,
resolution, color and shade), (PERSONAL) shall be adjusted according to
personal preference and memorized in EEPROM for recalling.
• Press P.P. key and it will cycle as follows:

Installation of the headrest mainframe

Setup work
•Remove the headrest and take the appropria-
te precautions to ensure that it is not damaged
during the installation.
Measurements
•Push on the headrest with your fingers to
make sure there are no obstructions that
would hinder the installation. Use the paper
template to mark the area to be cut.
Cut the headrest
•Using an adjustable-depth blade, start your
cut 1/4 inch inside one courner and cut diagon-
gonally across. Repeat the procedure for the
other two corners.
Remove foam & obstructions
•Carefully peel back the headrest outer mate-
rial. Set the adjustable blade to one inch depth
and cut around the edges of the hole, staying
1/4 inch inside the edge. Pull up one corner of
the foam and use the blade to cut underneath.
Remove small sections at a time, using the pull
up and cut method for uniform depth. Use a
Dremel or other appropriate tool to remove
other obstructions. Insert the monitor to mea-
sure the fit and make adjustments if necessary.

Route the cable through the headrest
•Run the supplied cable through the opening
and out the bottom of the headrest. Connect
the power, ground and video leads to test the
monitor.
Route the cable through the headrest frame
•Before connecting the monitor, pull the con-
necting cable assembly through the headrest
frame as shown in the diagram, Place headrest
frame into the opening and secure with correct
fasteners.
Install the headrest frame
•Pull the connecting cable through the center
of the frame as shown in the diagram, then
secure with correct fasteners.
Preparing to insert monitor
•Adjust the bracket pin to 90o,run the cable
through the frame as shown in the diagram
and connect it.
Insert the monitor
•Push to insert the monitor to the headrest
frame.
