Loosen but do not remove 2 screws on back panel of xture.
Remove cover from PUB Assembly, by loosening screw. (Screw should be captivated to cover.)
Take PUB Assembly and afx to the back panel of xture body by slipping keyhole slots over the heads of previously loosened screws. Ensure that the
red and blue wires protruding from xture enter PUB Assembly through wire pass slot. Tighten screws.
Connect low voltage (red and blue) wires from Power Supply (LED Driver) to corresponding wire protruding from xture using wire nuts according to
state and local electric codes.
Locate desired positioning for the xture in ceiling grid.
Turn off power to appropriate circuit at the breaker box.
Install xture into ceiling grid as required by state and local codes.
Remove desired knockout(s) in PUB Assembly for branch wiring.
Connect branch wires to corresponding black and white wire leads from the Power Supply (LED Driver) according to state and local electric codes.
Connect ground wire to green wire lead afxed to PUB Assembly according to state and local electric codes.
Optional step: For Power Supplies (LED Drivers) with dimming capability, wire the Power Supply (LED Driver) dimming control input wires (purple and
green or violet and grey) to the Dimmer Controller’s output wires. Wire the 1-10V input wire (purple or violet) of the Power Supply (LED Driver) to the
Dimmer Controller’s 1-10V output wire (typically a purple wire). Wire the 0V input wire (green or grey) of the Power Supply (LED Driver) to the Dimmer
Controller’s 0V output wire (typically a grey wire or yellow wire). If Power Supply (LED Driver) has unused wire, cap wire with wire nut. For additional
information see L-Grid Series Dimmer Control Application Note Doc # 53-000000.
Reattach cover to PUB Assembly and secure with captive screw.
Turn power back on and verify that the panel is lit.
Replace ceiling tile removed for xture access.
The installation must only be performed by a licensed electrician.
To prevent death, injury or damage to property, this product must be installed in accordance to National
Electrical Code (NFPA70) in the US or Canadian Electrical Code (CSA22.1) in Canada.
Disconnect power before installing the product or servicing it.
Wait until xture has cooled down before installing or servicing the xture.

BATTERY BACKUP
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
GTR2 SERIES
The Battery Backup can be wired to run on either
120VAC or 277VAC. The area shown inside the blue
hash marks (Fig 1&2) shows the connections that
need to be made.
For 120VAC operation (Fig 1) make the following con-
nections using wire nuts
Connect the low voltage Red and Blue wires to xture
Cap the orange 277V wire
Connect Black 120V and one of the Orange/Black
wires from BSL26C
Connect the second Orange/Black wire to hot side
of switch
Connect Red/White wire to switched side of switch
Connect the 120VAC input wires Hot, Neutral,
and Ground

For 277VAC operation (Fig 2) make the following
connections using wire nuts
Connect the low voltage Red and Blue wires to xture
Cap the Black 120V wire
Connect Orange 277V and one of the Orange/Black
wires from BSL26C
Connect the second Orange/Black wire to hot side
of switch
Connect Red/White wire to switched side of switch
Connect the 277VAC input wires Hot, Neutral,
and Ground
To prevent high voltage from being present on yellow and yellow/black output leads prior to installation,
converter connector (red wire with connector and white wire with connector) must be open. Do not join
converter until installation is complete and AC power is supplied to the emergency driver.
Emergency driver and LED driver must be fed from the same branch circuit.
An un-switched AC power source is required (120 or 277 VAC, 60Hz).
Do not attempt to service the battery. A sealed, no-maintenance battery is used that is not eld replaceable.
THIS PRODUCT CONTAINS A RECHARGABLE (Ni-Cd) NICKEL-CADMIUM BATTERY. THE BATTERY
MUST BE RECYCLED OR DISPOSED OF PROPERLY.
