Thefocusringisusedtofocusthereticle.Focus
prescriptionrangesfrom+2to-2.Donotusethefocus
ringtoadjustthesightpictureortoadjustforparallax.
1.Setthescopemagnificationtothehighestpower.
2.Rotatethefocusringcounterclockwiseuntilitstops.Do
notoverrotatepastresistance.
3.Withbotheyesopen,pointthescopetowardawhitewall
oraclearbluesky.Besurethattherearenoobjectsin
thesightpicture.
4.Rotatetheeyepiececlockwiseuntilthereticleimageis
sharpandinfocus.
5.Whenthereticleisinfocus,closeyoureyesfor3seconds,
thenreopenthem.Thereticleshouldstillbeclearand
sharp.Ifnot,thenrepeatstep1through4untildesired
reticleclarityisachieved.
6.Setthemagnificationtothelowestpowertoconfirmthat
thedesiredimageclarityofthereticleisachieved.

theelevationandwindageknobs.Theclickvaluespecific
toyouropticisengravedontheknob.Theelevationand
windageknobsfeatureadirectionalarrowwhichindicates
thedirectionyourimpactismovingwhentheknobis
adjusted.
Elevation:
ToadjustyourpointofimpactUP,turntheelevationknob
counterclockwise.ToadjustyourpointofimpactDOWN,
turntheelevationknobclockwise.
Windage:
ToadjustyourpointofimpactRIGHT,turnthewindage
knobcounterclockwise.Toadjustyourpointofimpact
LEFT,turnthewindageknobclockwise.

InialSetup/Zero
1.Thefirststepistophysicallymountthescopetoyourrifle.
Forthis,wesuggestfollowingthemanufacturer'spublished
directionsthatcamewiththemountorstandardringsthat
you'rechoosingtouse.Theringsizeshouldbe30mm.
2.Next,boresighttheoptictoyourriflebyusingalaser
boresighteroramagneticboresighter.Thisstepwillmakeit
easiertozeroyourrifleonceyougettotherange.
3.Onceyouropticisboresighted,getouttotherangeandzero
yournewoptictoyourrifle.
4.Formostcalibersandshootingstyles,wesuggesta100yard
zero.Youwillneedtoadjustbothyourelevationandwindage
knobs,eitherupordown-andleftorright,untilyouroptic's
pointofaimmatchesyourrifle'spointofimpact.Eachclickon
boththeelevationandwindagezeroingknobsare1/10MILor
1/4MOA.Theclickvaluespecifictoyouropticisengraved
ontheknob.
5.Onceyou'vesuccesfullyzeroedyouroptictoyourrifle,follow
thestepsonthenextpagetozeroyourknobs.

1.Afterlockingtheknobbypushingitdowntowardsthebody,
useaflatheadscrewdrivertoremovethecenterscrewby
turningcounter-clockwise.
2.Completelylifttheknoboffandfloatittoreadzero.When
"0"isaligned,pushdownontheknobtoplaceitinthelocked
postion.Ensurethattheknobisinfactfreefloating,bylistening
foraudibleclicks.YoushouldNOThearaudibleclickswhile
floatingyourknob.
3.Onceyou'veverifiedthatyourknobalignstoread"0"andis
lockedinplace,re-insertthecenterscrewandretightenitby
turningtheflatheadscrewdriverclockwise.

4.Afterlockingtheknobbypushingitintowardsthebody,use
aflatheadscrewdrivertoremovethecenterscrewbyturning
counter-clockwise.
5.Completelylifttheknoboffandfloatittoreadzero.When
"0"isaligned,pushdownontheknobtoplaceitinthelocked
postion.Ensurethattheknobisinfactfreefloating,bylistening
foraudibleclicks.YoushouldNOThearaudibleclickswhile
floatingyourknob.
6.Onceyou'veverifiedthatyourknobalignstoread"0"andis
lockedinplace,re-insertthecenterscrewandretightenitby
turningtheflatheadscrewdriverclockwise.

ParallaxAdjustment
TheTS-12Xparallaxknobislocatedontheleftsideofyouroptic
(asshownbelow).Thisdialisusedtoproperlyadjustimage
focus(afteryourfocusringhasbeenset).Properlyadjusting
thisknobwillensurethatyourimageisinfocusandfreeof
parallaxeffect.
Using the Parallax Knob
1.Ensurethatyouhaveproperlysetyourfocusringtoyoureye
prescriptionbyfollowingthestepsonpage3.
2.Whileontarget,turntheparallaxdialuntiltheimageisas
sharpaspossible.NOTE:Usetheyardagenumbersonthedial
asareference.
3.Toensurethatyouhaveproperlyadjustedyourparallax
knob,moveyourheadfromsidetosidewhilelookingthrough
youroptic.Ifthetargetandreticlestayinplace,thenyouhave
properlysetyourknob.
4.Ifyouseeashiftinreticlepositioning,readjustyourknobin
smallincrements.
Maintenance
InordertokeepyourTS-12Xcleanafteruse,we
recommendusingamicrofibersuedeclothand/oraLens
Pentocleanoffanydebrisfromyourlenses.
1.Usecannedairoryourbreathtoblowoffanydustor
debristhatmaybeonyourlenses.
2.Gentlywipethelenswiththecornerofamicrofiber
clothand/oraLensPen.
Ifnecessary,useasmallamountofwatertoremoveany
excessgrime.
