TheVTECH®ABC Choo Choo™ isacharacterbasedrolltrainfor babies

6 months and up.An engaging voice sings as the train is pushed across

the floor while the colorful beads pop within the clear dome on the

smokestack. Three cartoon-like train sound effects and a wobbling face

give this little train a unique personality.

WARNING: All packing materials, such as tape, plastic sheets, wire

ties and tags are not part of this toy, and should be

discarded for your child’s safety.

BATTERY INSTALLATION

1. Make sure the unit is turned OFF.

2. Locate the battery cover on the bottom

of the unit. Use a coin or screwdriver to

loosen the screw.

3. Install2new“AA”(UM-3/LR6)batteries

followingthediagraminsidethe battery

box.(Theuse of new alkalinebatteries

is recommended for maximum

performance.)

4. Replace the battery cover and tighten

the screw to secure the battery cover.

BATTERY NOTICE

• Install batteries correctly observing the polarity (+, -) signs to avoid

leakage.

• Do not mix old and new batteries.

• Do not use batteries of different types.

• Remove exhausted or new batteries from the equipment when the

unit will not be used for an extended period of time.

• Do not dispose of batteries in fire.

• Do not attempt to recharge ordinary batteries.

• The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.

WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THE USE OF RECHARGEABLE

BATTERIES.

NOTE: If for some reason the program/activity stops working, please follow

these steps:

1. Please turn the unit OFF.

2. Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries.

3.Let the unit stand fora few minutes,then replace the batteries.

4. Turn the unit ON. The unit should now be ready to play again.

Canada and a service representative will be happy to help you.

Topreservebatterylife, the VTECH®ABC Choo Choo™ learningtoy will

gointo sleepingstatusafterseveral minuteswithoutinput.Itcan beturned

on again by pressing any button.

ACTIVITIES

A. Talking Mode

1. SlidetheON/OFF/MODESELECTOR

SWITCHtotheTALKINGMODE ( )

position. You will hear “All aboard!”

followed by a Toot! Toot! sound effect.

All the lights will flash with the sound.

2. Press the LETTER ‘A’ BUTTON to

hear “A” followed by a Toot! Toot!

soundeffect.Thecorresponding light

will flash with the sound.

3. Press the LETTER ‘B’BUTTON to

hear “B” followed by a chugging

sound effect. The corresponding

light will flash with the sound.

hear “C” followed by a whistle sound

effect. The corresponding light will

5. Press the LIGHT-UP LETTER

BUTTONS in sequence (A-B-C) to

hear a sung melody. All the lights will

flash with the melody.

6. Press the WHISTLE BUTTON to

hear “All aboard” followed by a Toot!

Toot! sound effect or a random

melody. All the lights will flash with

the sound.
