7 Maintaining and cleaning
7.1 Window cleaning
Surface dirt should be rinsed away with water and
then the window cleaned with a neutral soap diluted
with water, or specic products for spectacle lens
cleaning. These should be applied with a soft cloth.
h Avoid ethyl alcohol, solvents,hydrogenated
hydrocarbide, strong acid and alkali.
Such products may irreparably
damage the surface.
8 Disposal of waste
materials
n This symbol mark and recycle system
are applied only to EU countries
and not applied to the countries
in the other area of the world.
Your product is designed and manufactured
with high quality materials and components
which can be recycled and reused.
This symbol means that electrical and electronic
equipment, at their end-of-life, should be disposed
of separately from your household waste.
Please dispose of this equipment at your local
Community waste collection or Recycling centre.
In the European Union there are separate collection
systems for used electrical and electronic products.
6.1.7 Installing the IR
radiation lter glass kit
This section describes how to install the IR
radiation lter glass. The kit consists of a pair
of IR lter glasses and a special front ange
with air barrier that is dierent from the
standard one, which should be replaced.
Dismantle the front ange of the
housing by unscrewing the 4 screws
using the allen wrench supplied.
Position the glass pair in the appropriate Tmax
seating on the new ange supplied with the
kit, after correctly inserting the O-ring seals.

h Make sure the IR lter glasses face
the right direction. The glasses have a
reference mark showing the side that
should face towards the outside of the
housing i.e. towards the direction from
which the IR radiation will arrive.
Position the front ange now tted with the
IR lter glasses on the housing, making sure
the sealing rings are correctly inserted in their
seating so as not to damage them. Tighten the
4 screws using the allen wrench supplied.
The maximum working temperature of
these IR lter glasses is Tmax = 300°C.
The percentage of IR radiation ltered
by these IR lter glasses is 80%.
