1. Introducing the VIPCOS Web Interface
1.1 Overview
This document describes the detailed configuration of the VIPCOS 900 4x Up0 Gateway using the
internal web interface. The web interface is divided into six segments Network Settings, Web / SIP
settings, Device Settings, Time Synchronization, Key Configuration and Group selection.
Chapter 2 explains the functions of the individual areas in detail. Chapter 3 gives specific configuration
examples of the individual functions. After reading this document carefully, you will be able to fully
configure the V900 4x Up0 Gateway.
The figure above shows the web interface of the V900 4x Up0 Gateway.

To view and edit the web interface you need a PC with RJ45 network connection, a PoE switch (IEEE
802.3af) and a browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome etc.) To begin with the initial configuration
stage, you need to reconfigure your PC’s IP address and subnet mask so as to make sure the PC can
communicate with the V900. After changing PC’s IP address (for example, 192.168.100.250) you can
access the Web interface of the device using the V900 default IP address.
The factory default configurations of the V900 are as follows:
IP address: 192.168.100.10
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Login: User (limited write) / admin / superadmin
Password: Vonamic / Vonamic / Vonamic
Note: If you are using a system that has already been configured, please use the IP address
range of your system. The examples in this manual use the IP address range of the
factory default.
1. Power up the PC that you will use for the initial configuration. Please make sure the PC has the
Ethernet RJ45 connector to be connected to the switch via standard Ethernet LAN cable.
2. Reconfigure the PC’s IP address and subnet mask as below, so that it can communicate with the
switch. The method to change the PC’s IP address, for example, for a PC running Windows®
7/8.x/10, is as follows:

to get to step 4 directly.
Step 4: Right-click on your local adapter and select Properties
Step 5: In the Local Area Connection Properties window highlight Internet Protocol Version
4 (TCP/IPv4) then click the Properties button.
Note: Be sure to record all your PC’s current IP settings to be able to restore them later.
Step 6: Select the radio button Use the following IP address and enter in the IP for the PC (e.g.
any IP address not in use, and in between 192.168.100.1 and 192.168.100.254), Subnet
mask (e.g. 255.255.255.0), and Default gateway that corresponds with your network
setup. Then enter your preferred and Alternate DNS server addresses.
Step 7: Click OK to change the PC’s IP address.
3. Turn on the switch that will be used for configuration and as the voltage source of the V900. Wait
until the start-up process is completed.
4. Make sure that PoE is activated on the switch. Connect the V900 to an PoE Port using a standard
network cable, and check the port LED on the switch to make sure the link status of the V900 is
OK.
5. Connect the PC to any port on the switch using a standard Ethernet cable, and check the port LED
on the switch to make sure the link status of the PC is OK.
6. Run your Web browser on the PC; enter the factory default IP address, to access the V900 Web
interface.
If your PC is configured correctly, you will see the login page of V900 as shown below.
If you do not see the above login page, please perform the following steps:
-Refresh the web page.
-Check to see if there is an IP conflict issue.
-Clean browser cookies and temporary internet files.
