Safety Instructions
Do not use the appliance until assembled in this manual .
Check that the voltages indicated on the rate plate corresponds to the local
mains power supply.
This appliance is not intended to be used by children or the inrm without
adequate supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance
by the person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
If the power cable is damaged , it must be replace by a suitably qualied person
in order to avoid a hazard.
The appliance must not be placed directly under a power socket.
Keep all combustible material at least 1 metre from the appliance
Do Not leave unattended whilst still connected to the mains power supply
this appliance is intended for household use Only.
Do Not operate this appliance after a malfunction, damaged or dropped have
the appliance inspected by a suitably qualied person.
Warning in order to avoid overheating Do Not cover the heater
Do Not use this heater with a programmer ,timer or any other device that switches
the heater on automatically, as a re risk exists if the heater is coverer or positioned
incorrectly.
To avoid the power cable being damaged Do Not allow the cables to hang over sharp
or hot surfaces and ensure that cables are not placed under rugs or carpets.
Do Not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid and do not site the
appliance in wet or damp environments such as outside bathrooms or swimming
pools.
Do not use harsh abrasive cleaning products as these may damage the appliance.
Unplug from the mains supply and allow to cool completely when cleaning.
Unplug from the mains supply when you have nished using the appliance.
There are no user serviceable components in this appliance for all repairs a qualied
person is recommended for your safety.
It is not recommend that any un-authorised accessories are used with this product
Getting started
Remove all the packaging from the appliance and either store or dispose
of the packaging safely
Positioning the Appliance
This appliance must be positioned on a stable, level surface at least one metre away
from any other surface or object. it must not be sited directly under a mains power
socket.

Electrical Safety
Class 1 Conguration
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:
GREEN/YELLOW: EARTH (E)
BLUE: NEUTRAL (N)
BROWN: LIVE (L)
Class 1 Conguration
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond
with the coloured markings identifying the terminals in your plug, pro-
ceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured GREEN & YELLOW (or coloured GREEN) must be con-
nected to the terminal in the plug which is marked with the letter “E” or by the
earth symbol .
The wire which is coloured BLUE (or coloured BLACK) must be connected to the
NEUTRAL terminal which is marked with the letter “N”.
The wire which is coloured BROWN (or coloured RED) must be connected to the
LIVE terminal which is marked with the letter “L”.
Always ensure that the Mains Cord is xed into the plug through the Cord Guard or
Cable Clamp, (plug wiring diagram above), and that the Cord Guard screws are tight-
ened to clamp the cord (outer sheath and inner coloured wires) into position in
the plug. Make sure that the plug top is also tted securely.
This appliance must be protected by a 5 Amp fuse in a 13 Amp type (BS1363) plug.
Should you need to replace the fuse, use only a 13Amp ASTA approved BS1362 fuse
(13A).
OPERATIONAL GUIDELINES
It is important to ensure the correct Plug Adaptor is used when operating
in a country not using the UK 13 Amp socket system. If in doubt, consult a qualied
electrician.

Instructions on Use
Plug the appliance directly into the mains power socket and switch on at the socket.
Do not use any form of adaptor, extension lead or timer
Press switch 1 to operate the ame effect and turn the fan on without the appliance
producing heat
Where heat is required.
For Low Heat (1000W) press switch 2 (The red light on the switch will show that
the switch has been engaged).
For High Heat press switch 2 and 3 (The red light on the switches will show that the
switch has been engaged).
Once the appliance has been set for high heat the temperature can be lowered and
raised by the thermostatic control 4 this is done by rotating the controller to the
right or left until the correct temperature is found.
The brightness of ame effect also can be altered to the required level by rotating
the controller to the right or left until the correct brightness is found.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Before commencing cleaning ensure that the appliance is disconnected from the
mains power supply and it has cooled fully.
Clean the appliance with a soft lint free damp cloth (for stubborn stains a little deter-
gent may be used) always allow to dry completely before using the appliance.
Changing the Bulb
This appliance is tted with two 40W E-12 bulbs and may need to be replaced from
time to time
When the bulbs need to be replaced
1. Loosen the two screws on the panel at the back of the appliance
2. Remove the grill to achieve this pull toward you and lift upwards
3. Replace the bulb/s
4. Re-assemble the appliance this is done by reversing steps 1 and 2
Using the thermostat
The thermostat will constantly maintain automatically the temperature that you set
It is recommended that the thermostatic controller is set to the highest heat at rst
and when the room is at the desired temperature the controller can then gradually
turned down until the appliance is holding the temperature at the required level.
