4 General information
Marking on the machine
The Westermann scraper 800, WS 800 for short, is an akku driven scraper.
A powerful DC motor and high-quality rechargeable batteries anables a
powerful and long-term working with the machine, if it is maintained
correctly.
Various slot systems can be cleaned of faeces in a very short time by the
double scraper.
Adherence to the instructions for use given by the manufacturer is
essential for proper use.
Only proper operation, compliance with the safety instructions and
appropriate maintenance and care guarantee the long-term use of
your newly machine.
Please note that only the handling of the WS 800 is explained.
The machine must be stored in a dry place and protected
from moisture and water! When cleaning the machine, do
not use high pressure or running water, as the electronics
inside can be damaged.
Use a hand brush and / or a damp cloth for cleaning. The
pushing shield can be cleaned with water as required
after dismantling.

5 Safety
Before use
The WS 800 must be checked for possible damage or wear before any use.
Onlyaawlessmachinemaybeused.
Please only use original spare parts or parts approved by the manufacturer for
repairs and replacements.
The operator must be at least 18 years old and is responsible for people and
animals in the work area.
Large foreign bodies must be removed from the surfaces to be cleaned
before starting work. These can lead to uncontrolled movements of the
machine.
The key must be removed after each use, also prevent
the machine from being used by unauthorized persons!
Connect the machine with the supplied charger after
nishingtheworkprocess.
This will prevent a deep discharge and the machine is
ready for use at any time.
Familiarize yourself with the handling of the device. Make a note of how to
turn it off in a case of emergency.
The key must be removed before the following work.

Only remove the attached scraper for cleaning. Never use the machine
without the scraper!
The WS 800 is only used to maintain crevices in dairy farms and can therefore
onlybeusedonatsurfaces!Whileworkinginthe stable, watch out for
possible steps by the animals!

7 Installation
First of all, check your WS 800 for completeness!
7.1 Assembly of push bar
TheWS800isshippeddisassembledforaneasiertransport.Youwillnd
the basic machine, as well as 2 tires and the push bar.
First you need to assemble the push bar with the included screws at the
markedpositions(Fig.1).Theupperscrewisusedforxingaswellasfor
adjusting the tilt of the push bar.

Be careful to not put tension on the harness during assembly! After the
pushbarisxedthewheelscanbeinstalled.Forassemblyusetheincluded
screws and the spherical discs.
