tions.
4. Mounting
4.1 Mechanical mounting
Requirements for the mounting point
Only use the transducer if it is in perfect condition with respect to safety.
Prior to commissioning, the transducer must be subjected to a visual inspection.
Obvious damage must be reported immediately.
WARNING!
Damage to property due to improper welding
Improper welding can lead to a short-circuit and damage to electrical equipment.
Before arc-welding, ensure the transducer is not connected to any other devices.
Disconnect all electrical connections to the transducer.
Ensure that the supply lines from the stranded wire do not come into contact with metal surfaces.
4.2 Electrical mounting
Pin assignment
The pin assignment on the product label refers only to the M8 3-pin for power supply. For the pin assign-
ment of the RJ45, see data sheet PE 87.12.

Voltage supply
For instruments without North American certication:
voltage or voltages greater than AC 50 V or DC 120 V for dry environments. A connection to an SELV circuit is
installation standard.
Shielding and grounding
Include the transducer in the equipotential bonding via the process connection or connect it to ground (earth). It must
cable shielding.
Warning!
Physical injuries and damage to property and the environment
The instrument shield does not act as a protective conductor for protection of personnel, rather as a
Information
Only use shielded communication cables and connection elements, at least CAT6 or higher.
5. Faults
CAUTION!
Physical injuries and damage to property and the environment
If faults cannot be eliminated by means of the listed measures, the transducer must be taken out of
operation immediately.
Ensure that pressure or signal is no longer present and protect against accidental commissioning.
Contact the manufacturer.
