1. Important Safety Warning
Before Using the machine, please read all instructions and cautionary markings on the unit and
this manual. Store the manual where it can easily be accessed.
This manual includes all safety warnings, installation, and operation guidance of MI series off-grid
inverter.
Before installing and using this machine, read all instructions and cautionary markings on the
machine and all appropriate sections of this guide.
Do not use the machine in the place where has flammability and explosive gas/articles. Beware
of flames and sparks.
Please Contact our after-sales person if the machine doesn’t work.
Do not change the electrical components and parts yourself, or we will not responsible for the
warranty items and related duties.
Please disconnect the connection between AC output, battery and machine before install or
maintain the machine. Besides, do not touch the machine in 5 mins after disconnection.
Do not plug/unplug DC terminal, AC terminal and battery when the inverter works.
Please use copper cable for line connection, and choose the right diameter of cable according to
the actual current.
Please keep good ventilation and heat dissipation.
Please install a circuit breaker outside the machine if conditions allow.
To avoid a risk of fire and electric shock, make sure the existing wiring is in good condition and
that the wire is connected tightly.
Do not restart the machine immediately when it alarms. Please analyze the fault reasons and
repair them at first.

2. Basic Information
2.1 Introduction and Features
MI series is a kind of off-grid pure sine wave single-phase inverter. It is mainly applied in wind,
solar, wind&solar hybrid power generation station, household wind&solar hybrid power generation
system and power supply for those unmanned regions like the coastal islands, remote border posts.
Features
Can be applied in wind, solar, wind&solar hybrid power generation system.
Simple structure, complete function
Low no-load loss by using industrial frequency transformer
Compliant with CE requirements

3. Product Installation
3.1 Installation Notes
1) The machine should be kept indoors and well ventilated;
2) Environment temperature: -20~+40℃; Humidity: <=95%,no condensing
3) Altitude should not be more than 4000m( >1000 m derating according to the GB/T3859.2
regulations).
4) Avoid using the machine in direct sunlight, sun exposure, rain, humidity, acid fog, and dust.
5) To guarantee the lifespan, it is suggested that the space around the device has no other items
within 30CM.

3.2.2 Electrical Connection
Chart 3: System Overview
Please connect those parts according to the order of ①-②, and notice the following items.
1. Please adjust the inverse switch is to “OFF” status before installation.
2. Connect “+” “-” of the battery to “+” “-” of the “BATTERY” terminal on the machine
accoridngly. (Do not reverse the connection of positive and negative terminals)
3. Connect “N” and “L” and earth wire of the AC load to the “N”, “L” and “ ”terminals on the
machine.
4. Connect the grid to the AC input terminal if the machine has by-pass function.
5. Check all the connections to make sure they are connected rightly and tightly.
6. Turn on the switch and then the system can supply power normally.
Notes:
1) Do not connect any equipment in wrong polarity to the terminals on the machine.

2) Please choose the inverter whose power is 3-5 times larger than the rated power labeled on these
machines if the load is inductive load such as refrigerator, electromotor, washing machine, and
water pump. Besides, please do not turn on them at the same time.
3) AC output socket can not be connected to equipments with large power. The ouput current
should be kept no more than 10A, or the socket will be overcurrent and even the inverter will be
burnt.
4) Do not connect “L” and “N” to the earth terminal, or the machine will be damaged forever.
5) “IVT Switch” is “on”, the inverter is turned on, if change it to “off”, the inverter is turned off.
